DDD.

Wollery has some pretty good ideas, but he failed to address all the hard earned taxpayer money the politicians are wasting on the Thug community.

It is a topic of current news that Jackson, Sharpton, and Obama are able to rouse thousands of taxpayer supported Thug people to protest any hard working "Hispanic", Asian, or White taxpayer who might need to defend his person or his property from violent Thug behavior. The nation's taxpayers should not be too proud to admit that they are all George Zimmerman.

While it is true that Thug violence is part of normal Thug "culture", that is not an approved way of expressing "culture" among those of the non-Thug community. Perhaps cutting off all the hard earned taxpayer money and in-kind goods and services the politicians are providing the Thug people will moderate the ongoing violence and threats of escalating violent Thug mob action.

True, some politicians may be operating under a good-faith belief that transferring hard earned taxpayer money from the law abiding tax paying "Hispanic", Asian, and White communities to the Thug community will delay its inevitable violent mob action, but that eventuality is only a matter of time.

The politicians have wasted ever greater amounts of taxpayer money paying off the Thug people without any positive result. Now that such wasteful and extravagant expenditures have resulted in bankrupting the nation, perhaps its time to turn off the money spigot. Let's demand the politicians cut our losses so the nation can move on.

Seems like a great way to divert budget money into a fabricated venture where the manufacturers are sure to be associated with their political buddies. Money for all. If you consider all to be politicians and their special project financiers. This is what happens when the fox guards the henhouse.

Ecology - Schmeology.......just another way to charge people for what was once free.

If this lame law were REALLY ecology centered, it would have simply banned single use bags outright but no, it merely banned giving them to customers free of charge.

To me, all this law says is "Cha-ching".

What a serious propaganda crock this is. This kind of scare tactic marketing advertisement is exactly what is destroying America. A bunch of "scary" ideas strung together with absolutely nothing to support it. Totally based on getting emotional response without any critical thinking encouraged. This stuff just makes me so angry. This is why the right wing agenda wants to destroy education and acts like being educated is an "elitist" unAmerican goal. It appeals to all those who don't want to rock the boat and don't want things to change and just want to stay comfy cozy and not have to think about the impact of their choices and non action. Go ahead and give me an intelligent response. I've seen so many here (that would be sarcasm).

This is something the people want also. We still do have some power in government. Or have you given yours up? It is easier to blame government than to be pro active and get involved with it. Just cause it's hard to battle for what you want doesn't mean you shouldn't try. So much easier to just gripe about it though isn't it? Recently "California's Right to Know" organised and got enough signatures to get a ballot to vote on to label any foods that contain GMO's (genetically modified organisms). It is being fought tooth and nail by Monsanto at every level of government. But "we" the people are still fighting and each new generation is getting more involved and that is where the hope lies.

Yes. You are right. When the revolutionary ruling class makes reference to "the people", the more naive among us just naturally assume they mean the great majority. Nothing could be further from the truth.

When the "career" activist revolutionary political ruling class make reference to "the people", they mean tiny - but very noisy - radical activist organizations that are used by them to hide behind in order to shift responsibility and blame when they carry out their odious job-destroying "anti-people" revolutionary programs.

The ruling revolutionary political class then rub salt into the wounds of the minority of Americans who pay taxes by making such revolutionary activist organizations tax exempt, thus effectively transferring their cost to the minority of Americans who pay taxes.

They are still allowed in our county. You are charged 10 cents for one. A lot of people keep their paper bag and reuse it while it holds up. Things that make us "conscious" about waste and consumerism often we are resistant to because we have become used to taking them for granted. It is not that hard to bring your own bag, basket whatever. Now when remote controls are banned, well I guess that will be another story. LOL.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Libra

You're in an idealistic mood today and only want to see the best in other people. This is typical Libran behaviour, because you aren't good at facing up to harsh reality at the best of times. Today, you're ready to believe that someone is a candidate for sainthood or that they're the best thing that's ever happened to you, regardless of whether it's true or not.
