Glad your ok! That area is pretty slick, if it's where I think it is. I've slid on that corner before too.

I agree the city needs to do something about this road. I know many of people that have had an accident on that road in the same area. I am doing alright. I am glad that we are okay and no broken/fractured bones. I just heard recently that Lincoln Blvd is slippery even when the road is dry. Thank You to everyone that helped us out.

That portion of Lincoln is not within Oroville city limits. I believe the county is responsible for that section of roadway.

Lincoln Blvd is slippery from the city limits going south towards Monte Vista. It was resurfaced several years ago by the county, and has been slick ever since then. With all the loaded school buses and kids walking along the sides of the road, it a matter of time before somebody is killed. And thats probably what it will take to get the county to do anything about it. Its a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Gemini

It's easy to become distracted and confused because your mind is wandering about in all sorts of different directions. You're also in a highly impressionable state so will believe almost anything you're told now, whether it's true or a total flight of fancy. Be wary of muddling others by only telling them half the story or letting your imagination fill in any gaps.
