No citizen is worth the value of a cop in Texas. The court will believe the cop that lies every time. The jails are full of innocent people in Texas. One third of the cops should be in jail instead.

I just learned of this SWAT raid resulting in the death of a man attempting to defend his home with a weapon that was on safety.

The American people better wake up and wake up fast. This situation was disgusting and sad. How on earth could a bunch of rent a soldiers (SWAT Teams) justify shooting a man that many times in his own home. Worse yet, the lies the Sheriff's Dept made up and even worse holding off the EMTs for an HOUR!
Any citizen doing anything like this would get the death penalty. I think the SWAT team should get it to, and their boss, and his boss and so on. This was plain and simple murder, nothing less. Write to the President and demand a justice department investigation of this renegade Sheriff and his jack booted thug deputies.

Cops are allowed to lie in court and have no credibility. Welcome to Nazi America! Don't cry if your race is one on the extermination list. The World War 2 veterans would never let the police screw around American citizens.

That’s the point: the current US soldiers and recent veterans have no honor and promote fascism rather than fight it. Many of the cowardly US Troops become cops when they return to the US so they can continue to brutalize people.
