The art may be of good quality, but I wouldn't know. I never had the chance to get past the horrible customer service.

A word from the wise, if you're going to own a business, have a trained staff that can correspond with the customer in an appropriate manner. Don't let young lackeys who can't articulate simple sentences and speak without trepidation handle customers.

I must say, that although I have never been to the shop, I live near Greenville, and have heard nothing but horrible things about the staff there. My advice, is that if you want to get a tattoo, and you want quality, then go to Intricate Decor in Mount Plesant.

Mystery Ink has had it's ups and downs since opening...finding out that my partner (whom I fired) was nothing but a loser and did horrible things..and trying to find employees that want to work and not steal ....if I could clone Chad I would...Chad's artwork comes very highly recommended and he's been tattooing for 15 years..ask anyone about Chad and you won't hear anything bad...give us a chance...

i love chad's mystery ink... i've had my hips, my nose, and my eyebrow peirced by chad and i love them. i also had a tattoo by him and plan on getting another one soon, the staff is fun and try to get along with everyone that walks in. i dont think that the staff is up tight and some people think that it affects the work done there but it's AMAZING...

I think Chad does great work I have seen some of his work. And coming from a artist myself. He does great quality work. Their are certain parts of my body I want tattooed that I can not get to. So very soon I will have Chad tattoo me. He gets my thumbs up great job Chad. Until then.

I had my nose pierced there, the service was not at all bad. I went in thinking I would end up leaving there before having anything done, but was very happy to discover that people have the wrong idea. I only had one problem with them, there was a child running around the store, otherwise they were great. I am considering getting a tatto there.

I just left Mystery Ink, just a few minutes ago. I decided to leave before anything was done and after I was treated horribly by the staff. I have had interactions with Chad and some of the other staff before and have always found them to be friendly, professional, and willing to answer any questions or concerns. However, today there was someone I didn't recognize there and he seemed quite stoned. He was extremely rude when I asked questions, such as, "how long have you been doing piercings, have you had any training in blood-borne pathogens, are you under the influence of any substances, etc.." He got very defensive and asked why I was questioning him. So I informed him that I had brought my son in for a piercing (he is almost 18)and wanted to make sure that things went smoothly and all safety precautions were in place. Evidently, people don't ask questions when getting piercings (which they should) and this man got very hostile and told me he wouldn't do any type of work for me even if I wanted him to and that I needed to get out of his shop. I told him not to worry, I wouldn't let him touch me or anyone else, and I left.
If you want to stay in business, especially in a small town such as Greenville, employ staff that are going to be professional, friendly, and not under the influence!
