Lawson Lamar is a crook.
He got the endorsement he wanted from the police unions and he's covering up for them.
Corruption reigns with our crooked state attorney!

It is Lamar's office fault if this civil lawsuit cost any money to the taxpayers and that really get me angry, if they had prosecuted this bad cop as a criminal lawsuit he would be responsible or the sheriff's office. There is no doubt at all that the state is very easy going with all the cases of police brutality, I do not defend this lady but whatever she did to the cop does not justify the desproportioned response she could have been paralized for the rest of her life.

I am happy they are requesting the FBI to investigate. Everyone else involved is too close to the investigation.

I am not a big fan of lawsuits, but it looks like The City Crooked left her no choice.

of course there's alot to this story not being told. Look at her, she's a drunk irrate fat hoe, wearing tight pants and a mid drift, minorities think they can do whatever they want and that the law doesnt apply to them as long as they have theyre race card in they're wallet or purse.

Then they sue everyone that was present that day so they get they're nails done while taking advantage of welfare.

15k only??? I expected it to be much more. The cop should be fired. I understand its a stressful job but it doesnt make it right that some officers carry thier attitudes and fustrations on innocent people all the time.

Good. He clearly pushed her, and a hiccup in the IA investigation is not her problem Ms. Demings, it's yours. I'm not sue happy at all but I'm glad she's pushing it..so to speak..

so your point is if you are a woman you belong to a minority you wear tight pants to go to a club AND OFCOURSE YOU HAVE SOME DRINKS BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THAT CLUB you deserve to be yelled, pushed by the stairs in a brutal way having the risk of getting paralized or killed, then when you file a compalin get that complain dismissed then get false charges filed against you then dropped because they knew they were false, then threaten and when you finally try to get your case to court dismissed with the complicity of those who are supposed to support you. so you deserve all that even if you are white yellow brown or red, what a stupid comment. There is no problem to be dumb but when you put your opinions in a forum like this at least try not to look like the one you are.

We need it! These cops are out of control in this state. They CAN, and DO, get away with drug trafficking, abuse, and management turns a blind eye to it - its time the feds' came down and rescued us from politics as usual.

That's what I thought. OMG! Try 100k plus he should have been fired. She should also sue the City of Orlando, and the Police Department. Girl get yourself a real lawyer.
