Goah darn it turned chilly on the pond.. A chilly breeze is ruffling the water and setting the rushes to rustling.. The gators are back in their warmed den and no critters to be seen... Even the beavers are snug in their dam..

I'll put on the heat lamp in the lean to for all those who like it toast..

Hi pond friends and critters.. Have ya heard the weather report? I hear snow is in the forecast.. maybe 3 inches by tomorrow morning..Lol.. I think it is a tease sponsored by the ski resorts..

Any hoo, I am bringing in the gators to their heated digs, and putting out feed for the critters.. I figure Foxy will do just fine..

It's 80 here. Heck, I'm already putting in my herb garden. The no-see-ums are out in force after 5pm. Not even skin so soft keeps those buggers at bay. Any ideas?

I've heard vinegar helps, but haven't tried it..lol..

That little now we had sure didn't do the freeze thing, but too chilly to take the walk around the pond for a leisurely stroll..

Oh well, spring isn't too far off..

Well, shorty, ya know you are right, but my bad hip doesn't agree with ya..It gets downright onery when the weather is chilly with a chilly breeze, doggone it.

So a short walk it has to be for now..

Welcome Queen.. Pull up a lily pad and join us.. We get together here for fun and relaxation.. Don't mind the gators, they just eat trolls, lol..

The leanto has a heat lamp that helps keep it toasty when the weather is cold. Although not bad this winter except we haven't been iceskating.. Rite is our master griller in these parts, and we all add our specialties..

I enjoy watching the critters, or reading down by the pond on the lazy summer days.

Everybody is welcome at the pond. Well...not everybody. Hey, Chief, Ron is back. The vacation is over. It was so nice.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It is good to meet kind folks like yourselves! I hear if you ignore trolls, they die from LOA..lack of attention. So incase the gators get their fill, we can just walk down the pond to a new spot, effen any trolls show up! Have a most excellent day All!
