It has become a circus. The huge ego needs of Padilla is taking over the case. He isn't the FBI or local police and is likely to compound things. How does he make all these conclusions having not meet with local police and federal officers while he resides in California.

Just read this news story and I can't believe any person with an ounce a common sense would think "nail polish" and being in the comfort of her own home (the one she fights with her parents in??) will bring out the truth from this psychopath.
What next, "...and they lived happily ever after..." I think that the odds of Caylee speaking any truth are right up there with Russia getting their troops out of Georgia.

I'm aware that this post reads as if I'm being nasty or provocative. Hard truths often sound that way, but my intention is not to insult or offend (I haven't singled anyone out). My primary emotion about this is, I think, sadness.
I do thank God for the multitude of caring posters, who devote time, energy, and compassion to this heart-breaking story of little Caylee. Their genuine empathy and concern for justice give me hope.
Just one person's thoughts. I totally agree with you, and I've written comments similar to yours in recent days. All the people who are screaming for her to be waterboarded are completely clueless - hello? That would be grounds for appeal and have any conviction overturned and she'd be walking around FREE! And the people who say, "oh, who would believe her anyway if she said she was waterboarded, since she's crazy" - those people scare me more than Casey Anthony does. It's one thing to be angry about the injustice to Caylee, but a proper and sound investigation and conviction takes time. But then again, this is America and we don't like to wait for anything, even if it means acting on incomplete information. I'm inclined to believe the investigators and prosecutors are being VERY CAREFUL with this case, to make sure the case is solid (which may take A WHILE) and any conviction doesn't get overturned.
