Wexler is a joke. He has conducted hearing after hearing after hearing the past year and has accomplished ZERO !!! Let's work on legislation....something we haven't seen too much of from this Congress.

The Operative word for democrats running for President is change. Fox News showed polls last night showing change was the number one issue with voters. Obama says he can work with republicans and a common thread in newspapers political reporting is both parties need to come together and start working together for the good of the country.

So Please Mr Wexler, please bring impeachment charges against Vice President Cheney. Lets get the names out of all the democrats who will not work in a bipartisan way for the good of the country.

The only thing admirable about Wexler...is that he's a liberal who actually wants to accomplish something.

Now what he wants to accomplish is absurd.....but at least he's not a 'do nothing' liberal.

But he does carry some of the stupidity of the average liberal.

So he obviously didn't fall far from the "DA" tree.

BTW...for the record....many of the votes FOR OsamaObama....are actually votes AGAINST Hitlery.

So don't get caught up in the false notion that the country is looking to this guy for 'change'. They're simply hate Hitlery and everything that smells "CLINTON".

Wexler didn't approve of the impeachment proceedings for the Clinton non-crime?
Lack of morality is obviously not a crime, just ask Bob Allen.
He proved giving definitely is not better than receiving.

A lot has been written and discussed about responsibility in government.
Some of that should have been reserved for the Odyssey MS story but we have obviously missed the larger picture on this one.
Unexploded ordnance?
They found a WWII era tank buried on this site.
Do they think the mighty Dragons buried it there?
editors note: The Dragon is the school mascot.
The bigger story is how come it never showed up on the missing inventory list?
OMG, a whole tank and our government could care less that it had gone missing.
Don't let Kat Gordon get wind of this one because she'll fight you tooth and nail over a missing desk or chair.
Can you imagine what she'd do about a TANK?

Funny how you republicans want everybody to work together once you lose control of congress. That didn't seem to interest you 2-3 years ago when the congress was busy trying to ban flag burning and gay marriage and ignored Iraq.

"maybe I can get him and the V.P. together over a weekend hunt and they can work it out."

Oh I get it! Tom is saying the VP should shoot him! Fun-ny!

On what grounds do you have to impeach him? I can guarantee, if there WERE grounds to impeach him on, Ted Kennedy would have already done it.

Actually, the House of Representatives DID impeach Mr. Clinton on 19 December 1998 on grounds of perjury and obstruction of justice. The Senate later acquitted him of both charges. Impeachment is seperate from conviction. Article two, Section four of the U.S. constitution spells it all out. It would help everyone to familiarize themselves with our constitution.

President Bill Clinton was Impeached for lying under oath. The Bush Administration lied to the World and thousands of people are dead and a Country is destroyed for Coporate Oil. Bush and his gang are under oath. Bush and Cheney both should be charged with Treason. These 2 are Traitors to our Country . Corporate American lead them on. Corporate America is really running our Country. Hey folks this place called Dubai is a new city for crooked Polititcians and crooked Corporate People to go after they get caught stealing from the American People like Halliburton has been doing. Bushes wife just got back from Dubai? I believe she was helping Halliburton count the money they stole from the American Taxpayers?? Folks it has been said if you want to rob a Country start a war. I hope Americans do NOT get stupid and vote for another Republicrook for President again!! We can't afford it!

Well, it would seem at least 11 people did :).

I think what amazes me is that people would argue and contend that breach of morality, in this case lying your hiney off about receiving a nob job, is on every level JUST as heinous and deplorable as potential war crimes and possible personal vendetta, not to mention torture.

How do you honestly drawn those lines of similarity? That's not just reaching, that's shooting at the moon, with a BB gun, and expecting to to hit it.

Hmmmm, a man lies about a hummer and panics and tries to save face (in front of a jury of people who liken it to mass murder in it's criminal intent)...orrrrrrr...those same people, who would be jury, find it highly offensive and idiotic to look into possible lies and deceit that lead to war and criminal activties at home and abroad...but THAT'S silly?

A previous poster made a statement, which, with the occasional acception, is most likely true, "every politician lies."

Now ask yourself, which of the two do you think is vital information to know...

...if your next door neighbor cheated on his wife and received oral...or which neighbor participated in (no matter how small a part) in torture and potential crimes against the "country."...?

If you STILL contend both are equal or that getting oral is no less monsterous in comparrison...you are either REALLY in denial (purposeful or otherwise) as to criminal intent and how to proceed...OR...you're being ridiculously blind for party affiliation's sake and if you can't see where that's OVERWHELMINGLY MORE dangerous...I don't know what to say...because in all actuality, you're a lost cause, bent on upholding the right, again, for affiliations sake, which is wrong.

The shrub and dead-eye dick should be tried for high treason and theft of the White House. President Hillary Clinton will effectively deal with those two crooks next January.

Clinton was impeached, however he was not convicted.

Impeachment itself is the bringing of charges against the president, the House did that, as it did against Andrew Johnson and was about to do when Nixon resigned. The official procedure is called the passage of the articles of impeachment, at which point the defendant is "impeached."

However, to actually remove the president from office the house must vote to impeach and the Senate must vote to convict by a 2/3 supermajority. The latter has never happened. Johnson survived by one vote and the Clinton impeachment failed to get even a majority. Removal is automatic. It's interesting to note that Nixon resigned not when he knew the house was going to impeach him, that was a given, but when his advisors told him that 2/3 of the senate would also convict him, removing him from office. The senate votes are the ones that really matter, although the procedure and impeachment in the House is humiliating for the leader. So even if Wexler could get the votes in the house, it would never pass the 51/49 senate so it's ultimately viewed as a waste of time.

When will Americans stop ripping out each other's guts and turn our anger and frustration outward towards the lethal enemies who have sworn to kill and subjugate us ? Bin Laden must be laughing his A-5-5 off in his cave over there in Waziristan all nicely protected by Pakistan while we little Boy Scouts worry about whether we should make terrorist confess or if it would hurt their feelings and whether a condemned murderer to tortured and killed slowly his victims feels pain when we give him his lethal injections. Nobody could make this stuff up. I get so disgusted with our media and liberal do gooders that I wsnt to hide the fact when I travel that I am an American. We are too stupid to exist and too naive to notice we're about to loose the whole kit and kaboodle to people more determined and cleverer than we are.
