Both were hurt pretty bad, the worse call of my life from the trauma unit. One son was hurt way worse than the other. He broke everything on his right side and has numerous surgeries. He has a hard time standing for and period of time and is constant pain. The worse part now is the addiction to pain meds which they are both addicted to because they have been on them for so long. At times their attitudes are so bad I can't hardly stand being around them...it's back and forth constantly. They both have recently had to move back in with me because I was just unable to continue to help them financially and being here cost less. No jobs and it's not looking good anytime soon. They both are use to manual labor and since the accident it was just too hard to keep up and they were let go. My son Jason is going thru disability right now to see if he can possibly be trained for a sit down job so that's in the works but it will only be part time. Jared has a hard time with his vision and hand, had his eyelid torn off and his hand crushed so he is having to start over too... Trust me a nightmare come true. I just have to continue to encourage them and hoepfully one day they will be off pain meds, it has nearly destroyed our family. Ouch..so sorry for your sons injuries..but as a mom you will do anything to help them I see..I too was given pain pills and I chose not to live my life all messed up on them..I can see taking them for aa while and I am fortunate to have learned to live with the pain..my heart goes out to you.. Calling it a night now...see you all tomorrow..

I have never seen such a bunch of nutbags, as the one's who post here. You all need to get back to "real life", and put your alter egos to rest.

Sometimes you just have to lay it all out on the line... and if some loser with a keyboard, and a grudge decides to act like a cyber-jackass, that does NOT mean that the rest of us feel that way, or condone their BS. We shared a lot during the holiday season, and I know that those of us who have faced hard times all understand, and appreciate the difficulties you are dealing with. Your sons will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Why you feel the need to be so horrible is just very sad. I have a real life thank you very much, and not one bit of it is full of the hate and venom that you have in your heart. Please find some happiness in your self and your life.

Good morning Pat, checked out early last night and just now reading back. Thank you I am okay... Like everyone else, it isn't just what has happened on the forums it is life in general sometimes. Today is a new day and I started it with my coffee, talked to my dog and watched the hummingbirds from my back deck as the morning was dawning. It doesn't get anymore peaceful than that.
