No solution in sight for Florida Democrats

Florida Democrats today likely will put an end to the idea of a mail-in presidential primary as party leaders struggle to find a fair way to seat delegates at the August convention.

Hillary Clinton and Obama agreed with the Democratic party that these states will not count for disobeying the rules. Where is there integrity? Is this what we want our children to believe that if something doesn't go your way just change it because it is you that matters is what you think. Honestly, I am sorry what is that?

Florida needs to hold another primary so that Senator Hillary and Senator Obama can be represented properly. That is the only solution because both candidates will be able to campaign in that state and the vote will be fair and honest for both Hillary and Obama. Florida should have thought about the consequences when they broke the Democrat party rules. Florida has a lot of nerve wanting to change a rule of law because they choose to. Therefore, they should pay the price for another primary. That is the solution because both candidates will be able campaign in the state of Florida. Florida should have worried about the consequences when they decided to up their primaries against party rules.

The rules are the rules. This is just Crist and Nelson going into "save their butts" mode because they now realize what a stupid mistake it was to not raise a ruckas when they saw all these penalties going down last year. To maintain the integrity of the process, Florida and Michigan don't count, or else just seat their delegates 50/50.

How is this not voter fraud? How many times will we allow public officials in Florida to make a mockery out of the democratic process?

I want to see a detailed investigation into the people who made this decision, who they are affiliated with and how they can get away with robbing millions of people of a vote?

People should be fired, jailed and then sued for restitution.

Theres an alarming trend in politics lately. Apparently one can change the rules as they go along and amend them so as to fit their convenience disregarding everyone else. I'm a registered Democrat in Florida and I'M AGAINST THE REVOTE!

Not much up-bringing lesson to be learned from DNC's behavior. Stick to the decision - no revote and no delegates!

Rep. Lowey obviously doesn't know a thing about Florida or she'd know that the Florida taxpayers have already paid for one Democratic primary, and that the Legislature is currently struggling with resolution of a revenue shortfall of almost $5 Billion. No matter how much she wants her candidate to win, no legislator -- Democrat or Republican -- is going to vote for ANOTHER taxpayer-funded Democratic primary.

The only SMART decision for Democrats -- no matter how much they want to nominate Mrs. Clinton -- would be to just leave this alone, follow the rules, and continue with the LEGITIMATE process to select a LEGITIMATE nominee.

This crisis was not even a minor issue until Mrs. Clinton started to lose primary after primary. In fact, she bragged in NH that, "These primaries clearly will NOT count for anything."

It's amazing how a few lumps will change one's perspective! I don't think many voters are misled by the fact that all these wailings come from Clinton supporters like Ms. Lowey and Sen. Nelson.

If they change the rules after the fact, like Mrs. Clinton wants to do, they will have no legitimate chance to win the election.

This is not the first time that States have been stripped of there delegates and not seated at the convention. For example, illinois lost there delegates a number of years ago. If the DNC would not have acted the way they did towards Florida and Michigan, We would have had a primary system that was so front loaded many States would have had little input . Rules are Rules.

I agree with the previous posts. Here we are again, crazy state of FL and another important vote. I say the delegates should not be seated as per the penalty for moving the primary date. I am sick of hearing about how we can get around this!! Time to pay the piper folks!! It's all about the consequences.

I agree with 'rules are rules.' As a registered Democrat, I want to see only the highest integrity from the party, period. If the DNC acts with integrity and takes the moral high road at every opportunity, and supports and defends the Constitution of the United Staes, then at last we will have a party that does so.

BELIEVE ME! OBAMA DON'T WANT A REVOTE HERE IN FLORIDA. ALL THE DEMS HERE AND AROUND THE STATE HAVE JUST LEARNED OF HIS & HIS PASTURE'S RACISM AGAINST WHITES - AND HILLARY WILL WIN BY A HUGE LANDSLIDE IN FLA. IF THE DEMS HAVE A REVOTE!

I ASSUME IT WILL BE THE SAME IN MICHIGAN! AIN'T ENOUGH BLACKS IN DETROIT TO COUNTER THE WHITES THAT ARE PISSED OFF AT OUR "ONCE" BELIEVIBLE CANDIDATE OBAMA! PISSED BECAUSE HE LIED ABOUT REZKO, LIED ABOUT AIRES, LIED ABOUT NAFTA, AND NOW IS TRYING TO THINK UP LIES ABOUT HIS RACISM RELATION TO HIS LONG TIME PASTURE & PREZ. ADVISOR REV. WRIGHT!!! A FRIEND HE KNEW FOR 20 YEARS!!!

PA., FLA., AND MICH. WILL STRONGLY GO FOR HILLARY AND HE HAS NO ONE BUT HIS RACIST & LIAR SELF TO BLAME!!!

VOTE HILLARY OR MCCAIN!

AND TO OBAMA AND OBAMA'S PASTURE: GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

People... people... people...
For the love of god... use your heads for something besides hat racks.

Re-Vote the two 'dummy states' and dump ALL SuperDelegates from the nomination process.

Is this too hard to understand ? Does this smell too much like democracy ?

WAKE UP. This is fair... this is 'We the People"

It seems that Arnold Schwarzenegger is not alone in allegedly admiring Adolf Hitler. NewsMax.com ’s Insider Report contained this little nugget about Bill and Hillary Clinton’s famous anti-Semitism.

We are not sure Arnold Schwarzenegger admired Adolf Hitler. If he did, he would share something with Bill Clinton.

The Clintons' anti-Semitism is now well known.

Details of it first emerged from retired Arkansas state trooper Larry Patterson who told NewsMax the inside details of the Clintons' dislike of various groups.

During the six years Patterson guarded the Clintons, he said their deep-seated anti-Semitism became apparent in slurs they hurled at each other. Bill Clinton also frequently told Jewish jokes.

Patterson made the revelations in a two-hour audiotape ''More than Sex: The Secrets of Bill and Hillary Clinton Revealed'' published by NewsMax.com several years ago.

Patterson said that during the Clintons' many verbal brawls ''it was quite common'' for both Bill and Hillary to refer to each other as ''a Jew motherf----r'' or a ''Jew Bastard.''

So far, Arnold has not been accused of such comments.

Patterson does reveal that Bill Clinton had a deep fascination for Adolf Hitler and his book ''Mein Kampf'' though.

Clinton's interest in Hitler was not based on the fascist leader's anti-Semitism, but the great leadership skills of Hitler, according to Patterson.

Clinton, Patterson remembered, was intrigued that Hitler ''had so much power over these people and that it had just been a short period of time since World War I where they'd been defeated, and this man had come forward and had rallied the German people
