I'm not really sure how feasible Shaq's plans are but his heart is definitely in the right place. I think this is so wonderful!

So much negativity. It's a shame. I think what Shaq is trying to do is very commendable. He is going to buy up foreclosed homes and sell them back to the owners at a reasonable rate. I don't think some of you understand. Many of the home foreclosed on had what I call floating mortgages. You know the mortgage is reasonable for the first year, and then it doubles by the second year to a point where it's unaffordable. Personally, I think people should have read the fine print when making a purchase of that magnitude. However, that's the state of affairs. Now here come Shaq who trying to make a difference. He is not going to make a lot of money off of this deal, not unless he buys up a lot of homes. I hope he does well.

Shaq, may the blessings and favor of God be upon you and your business adventures. Your effort is kind and considerate. You will be richly rewarded in various areas of your life because you are helping other lives get a second chance. May God bless you with guidance in all that you set out to do. May He open the doors that you are suppose to walk thru and close the doors to all business deals that you are not suppose to entertain. Seek His direction and your project will be prosperous for you and your family. P.S. Happy Fathers Day.
If I can be of any assistance with financing, feel free to contact me.

The government gives economic stimulus payments to taxpayers (and even bigger checks to the tax leeches)....sure hope we're not counting on them to bail us out of this gas price crisis we're in.

Can't count on the government for anything. And the stupid, greedy people who took a chance on a prayer are getting what they had coming...a little dose of reality.

A family of four doesn't need 2000 to 3000 sq ft to live in; try 920. The likes of Heathrow and Celebration and Reunion and Bella Collina are UNREALISTIC. Let's get people back into housing they can AFFORD...housing they can take care of...housing they will LIVE in, not work to live in.

God help us all. Pray for NO OBAMA in the White House... Use common sense-- do not vote for someone you never heard of until he tossed his hat into the ring!

Shaq could not keep his family together, he was too busy out making these millions that he wants to give to others who were not smart enough to buy what they could afford instead of what they thought they deserved.
Americans have lost their minds. Shaq is a publicity hound, and any fool dumb enough to follow him anywhere gets whatever he or she deserves.
Please stop praising his braggodocio idea already; HIT THE ROAD, SHAQ, and don'tcha come back no more, no more, no more, no more. Take your Shaq Daddy nonsense and your Kazam crap and your awful rapping with you. You have polluted Central Florida enough.
To all of you begging for a shot at his money, do you REALLY think this will ever happen? C'mon, get real, it's a publicity stunt!

I think this is a very good thing Shaq is doing. He should
focus more on low income houses. We need more of these development today. Gas and food is very high right now. Low income houses ranging from $50K to 120K would give a spark to the real estate market right now. Single mothers and fathers making $30k to $50k a year would be able to afford there own home. This is a great way to help change our slumping economy

While Shaq's intentions here seem laudable, someone should really point out that the practice described in this article is banned in some states, most recently Washington.

It would seem that a lot of real estate investors who bill their services as foreclosure consultants prey on distressed homeowners. Critics say that only lenders should be able to do that.

Just a thought, I don't think Shaq or anyone involved with this will be reading these comments to see your email addresses and think, "Well let me just shoot this fella an email."

And he's going to make money. A lot of money. Because in another year or two, when the people still can't afford their mortgages, he will own all of that prime location property in Pine Hills and Parramore and he will sell it all to developers who will clean house and put up more higher income residential and commercial buildings.

Because, after all, where is that brand new arena going and what is surrounding it? To Shaq and his associates, it's nothing but big bags of money.
