I don't believe I heard any reason for the brother not walking her home like he was supposed to other than they had a fight. Didn't her my space say the brother was going to juvy? Does anyone know what for? On her MY SPACE it did say he was going to juvy but didn't say for what.

According to the friends father, she had only been in his home for 15/20 mins., before he began tellin' her it was time she left for home. Part of that time was used up by her fighting with her brother. Why would she, AND/OR her brother, leave their own home to visit someone for just that short time...when they knew they had to walk back home, presumably to be there before dark? More importantly, why would the mother allow her to go? I'm suspicious of the friends father. Like someone mentioned earlier, why couldn't her walk/ride her home, if it was getting dark, and it would have taken all of 10 mins, roundtrip?

I heard of ten year olds running off, but not likely. jmo Someone would have to be feeding her, and providing a place for her to sleep/wash up, etc. In the movie's, that's usually a close friend, but.... The dad can apply for a hardship tour, and stay here in the states until it's resolved. He may even be able to get stationed in WA state.

Frankly I couldn't see a mark on it. Plus the fact the backdoor wasn't bent either or it would not have shut right during the tour on Nancy Grace. I think one of the panels which was taken by LE could have been punch by Ron. Who knows????jmo But we can report exclusively one minor mystery has been solved–why Ronald Cummings right fist appeared to be badly bruised after his daughter was reported missing at 3:27 am, Feb. 10. On the 911 tape, he sounds angry at Misty, and police tell me he was so upset his daughter was gone, he reared back and slammed his fist into a door. “He was upset when he got home, and when he got angry, he punched a door and busted up his knuckles,” said Lt. Johnny Greenwood, spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department in an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth, aka artharris.com . Sources tell The Bald Truth that investigators saw Ron bleeding when they arrived that night, and immediately swabbed his hand (along with several other people who gave permission) for possible DNA to confirm his account, and state of mind. In fact, Cummings pointed out the exact spot on the back door he’d hit hard enough to leave a hand print. As part of a thorough forensic exam of the trailer, police took blood samples from the door that matched blood from his wound, sources tell me, and ruled his account plausible and believable. http://www.artharris.com/2009/06/11/haleigh-e...

Ronald never went inside the trailer again, after that night, so I'll assume they're referring to that same night (Feb 10), when they mention that they took forensic samples from the door, and his hand (DNA). Now, if that took place the same night Haleigh went missing, why come back a good bit later, and remove the door?

I had read this before. If he punched the back door it must have been the inside back door not the screen/glass door. They wouldn't be taking the outside door for that reason, I wouldn't think?jmo

You have to admit, that is the only place to get information from and the most accurate out there. Who has had awards for his stories? ART. He should close the forum. It is worthless. Spunky has made a mess out of it.

Have you ever know a parent to move from the last home in which a missing child lived? He was probably behind on rent is more likely the reason.
