Why can't you admit that the earth has been warming for thousands of years and had nothing to do with man. That ice has been melting since the end of the last ice age and is still melting, glaciers have been in retreat for thousands of years, the oceans have been rising since the end of the ice age.
The polar ice caps have been shrinking since the end of the last ice age. The ice that use to extend down to cover Canada and Russia has been in retreat for dozens of centuries.
Tina floats yet another flotilla of lies just to see if any survive the trip.

"Admit that the Earth has been warming for thousands of years"? Dear, it's been steadily cooling for 8,000 years. Not quite in a straight line, of course, but definitely cooling...until now, when temps have risen farther and faster than at any point in that period of long before.

"The polar ice caps have been shrinking since the end of the last ice age"? Baloney.

Gee, only four. You could only find four and one of which is PHD (pointy headed dummy) who cannot even remember what his one question was.

The real truth in your post was how few alarmist are left. I had as many alarmist agree with me on one point or another in the past. A example would be Litesong and I agree that ethanol in gasoline is a bad idea. He even told me how to find ethanol free gasoline in my area.

Sorry, but your post only proves how many people respond emotionally to someone telling them something they do not want to hear. If someone told you that you were rich and handsome would not make it any more so that if someone was telling you that the sun rose in the west. All that post proved that there are people who do not like what I tell them not that I am ignorant.

Also you left a few like Northie, Bozo, and Fair Game out. I sure they disagree with me as well and have called me stupid.

Care to prove me wrong? The earth has been on a general warming trend since the end of the last ice age. As for the ice caps shrinking since the end of the last ice age. Canada was once covered by the ice. Areas that were covered with ice a mile deep are now used to grow wheat. Where you are sitting now was near the edge of where the ice had extended.

It looks like to me that you are getting ready to hop off the global warming band wageon and on the ice age one.

Ice age warming peaked long ago. Since then, mean global temps have steadily declined for 8,000 years, until now.

It's over, get up to speed:
-Occupywallstreet does not even mention CO2 in its list of demands because of the bank-funded carbon trading stock markets run by corporations.
-Julian Assange is of course a climate change denier.
-Obama has not mentioned the crisis in the last two State of the Unions addresses.
-Canada killed Kyoto with a newly elected climate change denying prime minister and nobody cared, even the millions of scientists.

Not quite. 8000 years ago we reached the thermal max of the holocene. However temps have not steadily decreased since. They have gone up and down with the overall trend being down.

There has be catastrophic cooling in the last 8000 years a few times with the LIA being the most recent. There has also been periods of warming, with the MWP being the most recent to our current warming period.

Both the greenland and antarctic ice core data show various times of warming and cooling.
http://mclean.ch/climate/Ice_cores.htm

The overall trend is down because of orbital dynamics.

Quite!

You are still peddling the old material that you ideologically prefer. LOL.

Here's the real deal that you are still wishing did not exist:

Global warming preceded by increasing carbon dioxide concentrations during the last deglaciation

The covariation of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration and temperature in Antarctic ice-core records suggests a close link between CO2 and climate during the Pleistocene ice ages. The role and relative importance of CO2 in producing these climate changes remains unclear, however, in part because the ice-core deuterium record reflects local rather than global temperature. Here we construct a record of global surface temperature from 80 proxy records and show that temperature is correlated with and generally lags CO2 during the last (that is, the most recent) deglaciation. Differences between the respective temperature changes of the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere parallel variations in the strength of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation recorded in marine sediments. These observations, together with transient global climate model simulations, support the conclusion that an antiphased hemispheric temperature response to ocean circulation changes superimposed on globally in-phase warming driven by increasing CO2 concentrations is an explanation for much of the temperature change at the end of the most recent ice age.

P.S. Get used to it. You were wrong again. The scientists are right again.
