You mean only Pakistan wants to claim that land. The fact is that for a country to be able to consider that land thiers they must be able to exercise control. Take the Spratleys for example. Several nations claim those islands as thiers. Yet technically none actually do. For the simple fact that none have been able to exercise exclusive control over it.

So how can you invade something that is a free for all. If anything the warlords and tribes are the only ones who can claim ownership since they are they are the only ones capable of exercising control.

Teddy....the science has been settled since the 1990s. There is no room for this kind of anti-science. This scientist will have to be exposed for his "bad science." It is "crystal clear" that rising CO2 will cause the Earth to warm so much that most species will become extinct. Who really has the most to gain from AGW? A little libertarian think-tank running on a miniscule budget or those who are profiting from working with the government to pass regulations that benefit their "cause."

Oh, please....I bet you defended Weinergate until the end because you don't have any kind of critical thinking. People went into contortions trying to protect that pervert, when common sense was that Weiner sent the picture accidentally to everyone instead of privately and then knowingly accused other people of hacking his computer trying to bring him down.

Since the "smoking gun" memo has everything from the other papers, it is entirely plausible that Gleick forged the memo from the information he got from Heartland. The parts that he added to "spice it up" were wrong. Koch did not give money to climate change and they only gave 25,000 for healthcare. And the really funny part is that the "smoking gun" memo is how so many people figured out it was Gleick before he even admitted it.

From an article posted the day before Gleick confessed:

The pressure got to him, so he confessed to obtaining the documents, but didn't go so far as to say he forged the memo. But when so many people had already figured out it was him because of the way that "smoking gun" memo was written, it doesn't leave much doubt that the person who obtained the documents is the one that forged the memo. Just like Weiner, when the pressure gets to be too much, he will fold like a house of cards.

And really, if the document wasn't a fake, there is nothing in it that is even remotely illegal or "evil." Heartland doesn't do anything different than any other nonprofit think tank. It's just that this "thinktank" doesn't conform to the thought police of liberal ideology. You pay a price for that....freedom, privacy, the right to speak.

It's sad that someone would risk their career to "expose" nothing illegal or "evil."

Just one example: in the the mid 1980's it was 95* on Christmas Day. It was a gorgeous day!

It all depends on the year, it can either be hot or very cold for a duration in Fl in the winter. That's NORMAL for Fl. So, give it a rest.

And people up North say every year, "it never snowed this much before" or "it never got this cold before".
