"A longtime Benicia public servant is hanging up her uniform this week. After serving the city for decades, Benicia Fire Capt. Lisa Dubnoff, 50, retires on Friday." 50, age 50. Now she sucks retirement from the tax payers for three more decades while she goes out and works somewhere else. She says her job was a "calling." BS.

If she started or entered the PERS system at 20 or 21, she'll get close to 90%. A Fire Capt = a Police Sergeant, she'll propably see 6 figures a year in retirement and paid medical for life. Sweet Deal..........

You have no idea what it means to dedicate your life to public service. Get a clue and get a life. Cpt. Dubnoff earned her retirement. She will continue to serve her community. As for you, all you have is your poor attitude and desire to bad mouth someone you have no clue about.

I'm just bitter as I've never really had a career and usually spend my time online most days. my apologies to you and the Capt.
