to let everyone know this dog was shot by a woman police officer with an assault rifle while she stood atop her police vehicle. after denying neighbors the ability to put the dogs back into the yard of the owners. then was shot a second time and finally tazed and let lie for an hour and a half until suffering. many neighbors were trying to access the dog and get it medical attention and were denied so by police. junior was ultimately euthanized, the injuries he sustained were too great and his quality of life would have been bleak.

This city is being taken advantage of by LA Animal Control pawning off their pits to Agoura Animal Shelter where a whole new pool of society rejects exists in Ventura co. Sorry but people that seek this specific dog above any others are a) weirdo losers who feel some kind of kinship with these "misunderstood" dogs, or b) forgot to have kids and now that their reproductive systems are old and shriveled, make it their mission to adopt these animals as their kids, or c) are fat, ugly, and largely ignored by a world who will finally notice them now that they're on the end of that leash. These dogs don't make you cool. Rather, they just feed into the stereo type that low income, low class, uneducated people have dogs as unwanted as they are by society
