State lawmakers have modified a proposal that would have required restaurants build 10-foot-high walls to hide the mixing of alcoholic drinks from the eyes of customers.

How many kids do you know that are 10 feet tall? Or even 5 feet tall for that matter? What a ridiculous state this is! Is there something behind the wall that you couldn't see on today's movies or on TV?

I don't see how preventing children from viewing alcohol bottles stored or drinks being mixed will prevent them from drinking. And it seems pointless that only new restaurants need to change. Won't they be confused why one restaurant has booze and another does not? So silly. Removing the booze will make our restaurants look silly without the beverages on display. "Looks like we're at Pizza Hut"
