Having had a very special relationship with this lady I can assure everyone that Joyce is an intensely private person who if given the choice would do anything to aviod this publicity. Joyce is a wonderful caring person who would do anything possible to brighten or encourage anyone who would cross her path. As a police officer, I have seen far to many people whose lives have be devastated by a disease that they neither wanted nor chose. My prayers are with Joyce tonight and for those researchers trying to find a cure for this devastating disease.

In the meanttime someone needs to give her a GPS locator for her wrist or necklace. That way she can stay on the grid if she wanders off.

Why would she want to go to Michigan? Michigan Sucks! Go Bucks! LOL

Here's something you don't always see...a police officer who can write clearly and thoughtfully. I think the other surprise is that this police officer seems to care and is being honest. Honesty doesn't fall swiftly to most law enforcement.
