The news is not good. Nothing detected in the chamber this morning. It appears they did not survive.

God bless the trapped miners and their families. I hope they are found alive elsewhere.

CEO Bob Murray should be held accountable for their deaths. His earthquake spin isn't working anymore. The truth has come out. MHSA says Murray Energy violated the law 320 times at the mine. He also is using illegal aliens in the mine. He's part of the businesses paying congressional lobbyists and Bush to have amnesty for illegals who work for little.

I hope the miners families sue his pants off. He deserves it.

The ABJ is behind in this news...They have reached the chamber, and have taken air samples. The oxygen was at 20.5% so the air was good. However there were no signs of carbon dioxide, which we exhale, found. that still does not mean they are dead. They may be in another area. All we can do is hope and pray for the best.

No one should be blaming anyone. OldManGrump is wrong! Bob Murray should not be held accountable. I am from a long time mining family in Kentucky. My father is a miner, my grandfather was a miner (killed before my mother was born), all my uncles and cousins are miners. I married into a mining family. My husbands father was a miner (died of heart attack) and all his uncles and cousins are miners. Someone who does not know what they are speaking about should keep their mouths shut! Coming from an area where mining is all there is, people understand the risks. We should all be focusing on the miner's families and be civil. God makes the decisions...not us!
