Clearly you did not have a reporter at the sentencing, or you would have heard the testimony of the Domestic Abuse Expert, Heidi Arrant, who testified that the two teens had an abusive relationship with the girl the abuser and Tye the victim. Furthermore, the girl is STILL advertising herself on MySpace, only now she is claiming to be 18 instead of 17. The expert testified that it is only a matter of time until she victimizes another male into prison. Because of her age, she will not be held accountable. Only wanted to add my 2 cents worth. Many people immediately jump to the conclusion that the male is always the perpetrator during instances such as this. Helenlig made an important assertion that abusive relationships can go either way, and in fact they do: it is more prevalent than might be noted that female abusers can also take advantage of male victims, and the females don't have to be of adult-legally-consenting age. This has happened numerous times across America and will continue to happen as females talk among themselves and they know what power they hold over a male and that they rarely receive equal punishment under the supposedly fair laws.
