VISD school policy

What is the Vidor school district policy on someone going to school in Vidor that lives in another town and uses a relatives address as their home address?
Should taxpayers pay for someone elses child when the parents do not pay taxes, support businesses or contribute to the community?

I believe the punishment is the electric chair.

Besides, who would want to go to V.I.S.D.? Talk about a low level education, lol. Doesn't even take a high school diploma to afford to live like most Vidorians, driving beaters and living in dented, discolored trailers. Don't forget all the vehicles with no motors and refrigerators in the front yard. Vidor, what a joke.

I don't think what you write about Vidor or the schools there is accurate. To be honest it is not much different than any other town and the schools are better than most in southeast Texas

One of many reasons I moved to Vidor was to raise my child in the VISD. We have some of the BEST teachers around. I might not agree with the administration anymore, because it seems the parents are running the schools and teachers are having to put up with a lot of bull from students, parents and their administrative staff. Middle school and Jr. High were the worst. I'm sorry, but I have to blame it on principals for not having any back bone to stand up to parents and not supporting their faculty. I'm sure the same goes on in other districts too. Maybe they need to get rid of these so called principals and get ones who will stand up.
Sorry, got off subject there a bit. The teachers are great and so is VIDOR. So mickey mouse, take a ride on DUMBO and look around some more.
