Did you read the whole article. All but 1 did. The only perp that didn't get the death penalty testified agains the rest and was sentenced to 55 years. Without his testimony the case against them was in jeopardy. A good deal if you ask me. 55 years in the joint with sex crazed men is a living hell for a young man.

its sad..for all concerned, yet i can't help but feel her remorse for her bad choices and being in the wrong place at the wrong time and being in the wrong crowd...she is so young and she could have been such a leader...what went wrong? It breaks my heart to see this happening to our next generation, and i feel that is why we as a community must get out of "SELF" and ask once and for all....WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP? get off the couch, turn off the T.V. and get involved jacksonville, show these kids they are worth something and that Jesus loves them so they don't have to turn to a life or crime and the alternatives. there are hundreds of volunteer places here in jax. that are begging for people to help, but people only want to sit back and judge when something like this happens and never put forth any effort to try to stop it before it goes this far....STOP BEING SO SELF CENTERED AND HELP US SAVE THIS GENERATION OF KIDS!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the clarafication! I didn't know that he testified against them... I do agree with you on the fact that he will get is in the joint!!!

How did you feel her remorse? Of the 2 video clips that I saw, the trial and the sentencing, I saw nothing that even resembled her feeling sorrying. I'm sure she's sorry she was caught. She did not turn and apologize to the family of the victims. She was stoned faced, like a cold hearted killer.
They buried 2 people ALIVE for god sakes!!

she was not in the wrong place at the wrong time..she was a very willing participant in this cold blooded killing. she impersonated the elderly woman and was the one who set the couple up to let the others get near them. she deserves a very painful death..and not in 20 years..immediately...how do you feel sorry for her? where is the sympathy and the outrage? you need mental help.

Yeah, let's all volunteer - like the people that she killed!! They were GOOD to her. They tried to help her. They sold her a car and let her make the payments to them (don't know the details of course, but I'll bet they cut her a good deal -unlike the deal she cut them). Please don't talk about volunteering...This is a problem from the family. Don't expect kind stranges to volunteer to raise your kids!!

I worked with Mrs. Sumner while stationed at Charleston AFB. She was the kindest and sincerest person I know. I don't really believe in the death penalty but due believe that all of those individuals should be buried alive.

Now we have to take care of her sorry arse for the rest of her life. 25 cents, one round, problem solved.

USA look what you´ve done wrong. The whole world is against you and your economy crisis shows how stupid all of you are. You gave weapons to the Iraque and to the terrorrists and wonder that they give it back to you??? You start wars and don´t know the difference between Iran and Iraque. Your education is far under the European standard. Whole Europe is against the death penalty and maybe you should do something for all of your people and not kill them. The death penalty is barbaric and the state should know that. Scientits showed a lot of times that the death penalty doe not prevent murder.You allow young people to have weapons and you have nooo social system at all. And you wonder why America is violent? And why your crime rate is so high? You are not able to speak other languages and you are not interested. Now a lot of people lost their job because of your stupid economic system.Excuse me, but maybe you should blame yourself and not the violent young people. The only thing America did good was voting for Obama. And still he gets more death treats than any ohter president. What a shame. All of you should just shut up!
