I heard that Rev. John Schettenhelm was killed in a motorcycle crash yesterday. Does anyone have any information regarding that accident? I live in Florida and am a friend of his wife.

He served as Pastor at our church several years ago (Trinity Lutheran Toledo, Ohio)! I didn't know him personally, but I can say he must have been a wonderful person. Everyone who knew him is so sadden by this news. Please know your congregation will be in our thoughts and prayers in this most difficult time. God bless!

This April 9, 2008 will mark the two year anniversary of my brother's death. He will never be forgotten, as will our mother, who passed away in 1985. There will come a day when we meet face to face once more. Until then, we will continue to move forward.

I too am a motorcycle rider and am sad to see tragic things like this happen. Was Mr. Schettenhelm any relation to Ms. Shelley Bridges by any chance?

Pr. Bridges' death was unrelated to Pr. Schettenhelm's

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Leo

There's an erratic quality to the day, thanks to the Full Moon in emotional Cancer, combined with a lunar eclipse. Loved ones are likely to behave in ways you hadn't counted on. The only way to cope with this is to be as flexible as possible. Someone might change an arrangement at the eleventh hour so you have to think on your feet, or others may be determined to do their own thing even though it doesn't suit you. Get any arguments out of the way quickly so you can enjoy your New Year's Eve celebrations with a glad heart.
