$100 REWARD offered for information leading to the arrest ....

... of the Un-AMERICAN Low-Lifes that stole, and are guilty of the "Desecration of the flag(s) of the United States", that were on the GONZALEZ & GARCIA Campaign signs throughout the City of Orange Cove.

There was major damage to the sign on the corner of Park and 12th street ... the sign is on private property. The Sheriff's Department advises that this action is a FELONY. Repairs have been completed by Campaign Volunteers.

§ 700. Desecration of the flag of the United States; penalties
(a)
(1) Whoever knowingly mutilates, defaces, physically defiles, burns, maintains on the floor or ground, or tramples upon any flag of the United States shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both.

A $ERIOUS FINE and/or a YEAR IN JAIL ... and there were five flags on each sign ... with luck the FEDERAL PROSECUTOR will pursue EACH FLAG as a separate CHARGE.

It is amazing that NONE of the GUERRA/LIZAOLA signs have a scratch or a smudge on them ... I am advised that the Sheriff's Department noted that in their report.

YOU earn the Reward when you provide information to the Fresno County Sheriff's Department that leads to the arrest of one or more individuals involved in removing the flags, OR, damaged the campaign sign at Park & 12th Street . Conviction is not required.

Now Eldon you know better, dont start accusing anyone,your just angry and you cant blame the other candidates for this. I support Garcia and Gonzalez I have nothing against the other candidates. But I have been friends to the Gonzalez family for many years, and I think she should have a chance at this. Eldon Thompson does not represent us, I am totally against what he writes , and how he attacks everyone on this forum , I think he does more damage than good with his letters trying to correct everyones spelling.And attacking the Mayor , yes Eldon I do respect the Mayor very much. I may not agree on everything he does.But I do respect the man, and give him and the council credit for all they have done.Thank you Mayor Lopez and council Glenda Hill, Diana Guerra, Bertha Delboque, Joel Lizaola. I agree with the first comment. It's one thing to vandilize property. BUT IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A HATE CRIME AGAINST AMERICA and the person caught should be punished accordingly. This country has become entirely to lenient and needs to put that FLAG higher and respect it and what it stands for.
Amazing that a person can read english.... but responds in spanish... I for one......live in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Which last time I checked spoke ENGLISH, as is and will always be our countries language.
