No, ignorance is a plague...exactly how long HAVE you been infected? These two young women were obviously full of promise and trying to make a difference in this world, and their lives were cut tragically short. However, I am sick and tired of ignorant people/race baiters attributing every heinous act to race based on the color of the perpetrators and victims. If the racial roles had been reversed, and the victims had been black and the suspects white, would you say that they were justified, since as you say, "blacks are a plague on our society"?

Stating The Obvious is right!! Scum comes in every color!! You can choose to do the right thing and be a good person. Some people choose to discriminate and look at a particular race or races as all bad. I would have though, had the roles been reversed, "WOW, that's unusal most of the time black females get killed by black men". I think predators like these two villians, would have robbed and killed the first easy victim that came by, just like lions, wolves or tigers do.

However there is this problem in the black community that needs to be addressed and it's going to take some serious action on the part of our communities, law enforcement and State governments (All the Feds need to do is help with some funding and coordination).

Though blacks account for just one-eighth of the US population, they are six times more likely than whites to be victimized by homicide -- and seven times more likely to commit homicide.

It isn't an insoluble problem. Americans overcame white racism; they can overcome black crime. But the first step, as always, is to face the facts.

Amen! To fix a problem you have to own it. And you know, there are some well known African Americans like Bill Cosby who are trying to do something about it and make people own it.
