I think that Guber is the man for the job. He seems to be a man of his word and has a lot of integrity.

You would be surprised at the high class and the low class that feels the same way. Guber can not be as bad as the one we have.

If the people only knew 1/4 of the stuff that this mayor has done for the town of Opp out of his own pocket they would be surprised! I have nothing against "Guber" at all actually he is a nice person but Durwood has alot for this town! You only talk about the bad, cause noone ever wants talk to talk about anything good about anyone anymore. I am neither high class or low class, I am God's child just like YOU are.

You know it didn't really matter who got it. I no Durwood and he has done alot for people. Matter of fact if you listen to the talk they are blaming Durwood for our power bills going up and you know he hasn't anything to do with that. My cousin works for Alabama Electric and that is a part that NO one in this city can change. I just like to see changes. I don't no Guber. But I do no that there could be more done to help this town. I to am God's child just like YOU. I am living proof that the Good Lord above has taken care of. I am low class and proud of it.

Hey I just thought of something else. I want someone to reply to this. I am so shocked at the things that I hear about going on.Kathy I think you are a wonderful person. I guess being home bound I am out of touch with alot of things. For example when I was told about the illegal pill drug bust. I had known them people for years and was so shock!!!!!!!. I can not believe the things that people are doing. I haven't seen that on topix. But I have to say don't blame it on the economy. I know alot of people that are having it hard and they aren't doing that. I want comments because I feel that if that is the way to make ends meet then let the Good Lord above take me. Don't blame selling pills and drugs on the economy. I hope they get the hardest sentence there is. Boy I am going to feel the heat on me but I don't care. I have grandkids and teenagers.

I have a question regarding a politician. If you know without a doubt that this politician is having an affair what do you do? I think this politician's spouce is already aware of the situation. First I think that the public should know, especially if this politician is causing an uproar in the community. It is all over the city and I think the people should know how their politician is carring on without respect to his family or the people of the city. I read your agreement but there are somethings that the public needs to know. If I can't expose this politician so be it, but if I can release the information let me know. It will not be a supprise to anyone for the simple reason that everyone knows. Just to let everyone know, an affair can not materialize without the aid of another person. So that no one think that this politician is guilty on his own that's not true. You can not start a relationship without another party, it don't work that way. So don't think that this politician is the only one in the wrong because they are not. As the ole saying goes it takes two to tango.

What things are you talking about? I have heard a lot about shady things going on with the mayor and its not good

I agree and its all over town even in the surrounding towns. I hope the LADIES that are involved really get exposed for who they are. The whole town is talking about it. I guess if you have the money you have the power.

So far you have ran a clean race, it is understandable that you did not bring up things in the past nor did you put the blame on anyone. As you stated it will all come out in the near future, and I mean the near future. As you stated the city of Opp needs a change and the people of Opp needs to know what/who they have as their Mayor. I was reading another comment that was submitted sometime in 2008 regarding what the Mayor have did for the City of Opp with his own monies and that's putting it mildly. If they knew that their Mayor is sleeping around with a BLACK young lady name LINDA they would have second thoughts of their precious Mayor. As the old saying goes money is the root to all evil, I have another saying that goes something like this. A silly old white man with a lot of money can get any silly Black whore like LINDA to do things that the normal Black Lady would not do. So this is something that the people of Opp who holds the present Mayor to a higher standard can think about. It is a truth that the man with the most money can rule, look at how he has use this black lady. The sad thing of the matter is that she is married to a good young man, but it sad to say that this young man is in denial, denial of the fact that his wife is fooling around on him with a RICH WHITE MAN.

Seems like someone has an EXTREME CASE OF JUNGLE FEVER!!! I heard it was more than just one involved. The whole town is talking about it now and most are laughing about it. Just think of the families that will be hurt when all this finally surfaces or when someone grows enough Balls to tell the newspapers to print it with all the names involved

It all depends on what your term of JUNGLE FEVER means to you. If you are a racist and like to use the term JUNGLE FEVER as a derogatory term it could mean that you are refering to people in an interracial relationship. I am not a racist and neither do I consider myself a derogatory person. Back in my day JUNGLE FEVER was not meant to be racist in the racist sense that you speak of, I agree that it was an interracial relationship, with that being said I will say this, I do believe that anyone in a high position should conduct themselves in a manner that he or she would not be ashamed of. You say this Linda that you speak of is black. I wonder what does her family or the black community really think of her? From all the talk I hear in my circle, not too many in the black community liked her before all this happened. I do not think for one Minute that THIS GUY would defend her honor if her was pressured. And I also heard from another circle that she is being watched and that there is all types of pictures and video of her in action. NOw wouldnt that be something to see? Do you think you can get a copy of the videos?
