I'm afraid that there are alot of kids being abused and parents, grandparents tell all the right people but they don't do anything. I know cause I'm dealing with a situation that I hope and pray won't end up like this. Maybe with this going on they will listen and check things out better before something like this happens.

No, no one ever listens. It's the same with domestic violence and protective orders. No one listens until somebody gets killed and then the people who have the power to do anything stand up and yell "HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?" They make a big noise for a short while, for all that looks good on paper..........and then they bury it. Forget about it, that's the Mantra here. Welcome to the Good OL' Boys Club of Idaho. And just so you know, I'm a native Idahoan with 50 years of senoirity here. I know from whereof I speak.

Your messed up Idaho.
How do you know this kid was being abused? Where's the evidence? Where's the mother? Kids murdering their parents wow just wow.
Had health and welfare ever investigated? Had the child ever made allegations? Get the facts before you jump to conclusions, even if their was abuse going on, I hardly doubt that warrants parentcide. Now every kid that hears about this and thinks his/her parents are mean or abusive, could take matters into their own hands.
I've experienced both sides of this issue, and public opinon is the last thing the courts need, especially the uneducated and misinformed variety. Regardless I doubt justice will be served in this cass whether guilty or not.

Unfortunately the term "ABUSE" is so lightly thrown around now. If you are accused, You are hung in the media, Ostracized by your friends and Family, Fired from your job, Evicted from your home... All before you have your first day in Court.. Then it falls upon the accused to prove his / her Innocence.. All contrary to the Rights & protections given you in the constitution.
If the charges are false there is 0% chance you will ever recoop your property or reputation, and > 0% chance they will prosecute the accusers for making a false / Purjured charges against you.
