Pleasantville man enters not guilty plea in Yonkers cough-syrup crash case

A young man who was allegedly high on cough syrup when he was involved in a fatal car crash in Yonkers pleaded not guilty yesterday in Westchester County Court. via The Journal News

I think this is a tragic story. I do not believe that he deserves prison time though. This boy is only 20 years old, with no other criminal record. It was a horrible mistake that he has made, and I believe that with counceling, community service, and probation, not to mention the thought of him killing someone on his shoulders for the rest of his life..is plenty enough punishment. We need to communicate more with our children people! Open your eyes.
