What is it with all of the barking dogs on Bear Mountain? I mean really, anytime of the day or night you can step outside and hear five or six dogs barking. How can the owners stand to listen to that all day, everyday and night? My God are those dog owners deaf, or on so many drugs that they can't get out of the bed or off the couch and take care of their dogs.

If a dog won't stop barking kill it or go buy one of those "No Bark Collars" at Wal-Mart. If you don't have respect for you neighbours how can you expect your neighbours to have any respect for you?

You are a fool! The dogs are barking because there is a problem. They may need food or water. So, your stupid a$$ should not be on here making mean comments wanting the dogs killed. It is not the dogs faults it is the owners fault. You need to contact animal control, or have the law to go up there and see why the dogs are barking so much. The dogs are barking for a reason.

Dogs are like their owners.
Some are potty trained and some aren't.

The police don't care - would you rather the dogs die a slow death from starvation and dehydration? What a mean, cruel and awful person you must be. Very sad...

Here is your sign DUMBA$$!!! Then do what ever you have to do to get attention brought to the problem. Call the media, killing the animals is not the anwser. I guess it is just the easiest anwser to the problem.

You have to be the stupidest most simple-minded "person" on this forum. One thing is certain and that is that you're undereducated as is evident from your inability to spell simple words like "answer" and "dumbass". If I were you (thank God that I'm not) I would learn to spell dumbass before I started calling others same.

I'm through with this I have better things to do with my time than responding to your stupidity. Have a great day.

If you are talking about the dogs in the holler they are very well fed .The reason they are barking is because there is a female in heat and they are separted from her .if you have a problem with my dogs come to my house and talk to me about them not on the damn computer .The people around here need to worry about how they drive instead of worrying about a dog barking.

One more thing all the housees around here is at least 200 feet away from the other if my dog is bothering you that bad then you really got problems. Maybe you need to lay off the booze some.

I agree these houses are not side by side there is a good distance between most of them. I know a couple that bark and can tell you the reason, fox, bears, coyote. These are the animals I see on a DAILY basis and my dogs keep them away from the house and kids. I love and am very thankful for my dogs and what they do for the protection of our home and family.

Keeping those animals away (fox, bears etc,) is a good thing I don't think anyone is talking about that. It's dogs that set in the same spot and bark and howl all day long or for hours everyday.

Even at two or three hundred yards a constantly barking and howling dog is a disruption of the peace. And should be taken care of and would be by anyone with respect for their neighbours.

What I can't understand is how those dog owners with the dogs chained 10 yards from their house can stand the constant barking and howling. How can they sleep? Can they not hear it?

You said it all the dogs is tied up on the owners property so you need to get over it. Look at first I thought you was talking about my dogs and they did bark for a while when my female was in heat. But they don`t much no more except when I come home or when other dogs is howling. So sorry that you can`t adoubt to the barking with the hangover you deal with everyday like I said get off the beer and getover it.

Shane,
Why do you think it is your dogs?
Do your dogs bark so much that you automatically think that someone asking about barking dogs are talking about yours?
How do you know that the original poster was talking about you? They said dog that there barking dogs all over the area.
Your dogs must bark a lot for you to automatically think that your neighbours are talking about your dogs.
I'm glad that I moved out of Scott County.

Look I read on a couple of these topix the word respect. Well you guys got on topix to make a point instead of going to the dog owners house and talking to them about it. Now that to me is a whole lot more disrespectful then a dog barking. I did get a little defensive but who really knows you was talking about.
As for wanting to kill the dogs you can be shot for that just like if you was killing livstock. Just somthing to think about.

Well your right that I assumed that they commiting on my dogs since my two male dogs was raising hell over the female that was put up when she became in heat.
That around the same time that they posted this topix.
I sorry if I was in the wrong.

You know what i think .I think people need to get over themselves everybody`s dogs bark .I don`t give a damn whos dog it is ,it barks i hear dogs bark all the time day in and day out.My dogs are very well fed and taken care of and because they have to stay outside while i WORK for a living, people start bitching about something .Instead of worrying about the dogs try worrying about something important like the way you drive or talking on the phone while you are driving or lets try this one putting your kids in a car seat like they are supposed to be. Wake the hell up people there is more important things to do other than worry about dogs.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Aquarius

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight. It's a good day for keeping track of important details and processes, such as confirming a forthcoming appointment or filling in a form and then making a copy of it before sending it off.
