If she was released and allowed to be with her child perhaps it was because she has shown the system she is worthy. On the other hand the system may not have the legal authority to do much more than has been done. So the bottom line is if you do not agree with what has transpired, change the system or more to the point, the people in the system making the decisions. So what ever the reason she might have been dealing with issues no one here has any clue of and those issues may simply have needed attention and counseling. I will bet there are circumstances here that no one is aware of and the "benefit of doubt" should be given. Everyone has the opportunity to a second chance, shouldn't she be afforded the same?!
