The title of this article is very misleading.

It makes one automatically assume that it was from the guns they carried.

One fell and broke his head on a rock.
The other one died of a heart attack.

What is the point of posting this article other than media sensationalism?

There is no question the Omak-Okanogan County Chronicle is in dire need of a headline writer. Of course opening day of deer season is the biggest news of the month. Look at these hard hitting headlines from their "news" page today:

Omak-Tonasket volleyball match time moved up

Workshop offered on canning meat and seafood

Teen hurt when car hits cow

Winter parks schedule announced

I guess the editor got carried away when something in his coverage area actually happened.

This is 'pay-back' for the 'Snow White' joke, isn't it?
.
:o)
.
I agree: Somebody needs to get clue on how to 'headline' a news article.
.
Then again? Maybe they intended to hype some anti-hunting spin.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aquarius

Unfortunately it won't take much to get your wires crossed, especially if you're trying to keep track of your Christmas preparations. It's hard to work out what still needs to be done. A member of the family is away with the fairies or is being completely fanciful. It's a pest because that sort of behavior can make you feel anxious and harassed.
