What is wrong with this place? It looks like a trash dump. The managers are smoking grass and not mowing the grass.

does any one know the number to the owners?

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THE MANAGERS HERE ARE DOING A REALLY GOOD JOB. YEAH THE GRASS NEEDS TO BE MOWED BUT THE LAWN MOWER IS WAITING ON PARTS. I REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SOMEONE BADMOUTHING THE PLACE WHERE THEY LIVE AND ALSO WHERE THEIR CHILDREN LIVES. THERE IS ONE TENANT WHO IS LIVING HERE THAT ALSO HAS A HOME IN COLFAX, LA, WHO IS ALWAYS SCREAMING AT HER CHILDREN AND YOU CAN HEAR HER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COMPLEX. i DONT BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD BADMOUTH WHERE THEY LIVE UNLESS THEY HAVE A HOME SOMEWHERE ELSE. ME MYSELF I HAVE GOTTEN MORE DONE AS FAR AS REPAIRS TO MY APARTMENT SINCE THE NEW MANAGERS HAS BEEN HERE.

SO MY POINT IS IF YOU DONT LIKE THE NEW APARTMENT MANAGERS AND THE WAY THEY DO THINGS. EITHER GET OVER IT OR MOVE AND GET OUT.

This is the first time that I have gotten on this site. So whoever it is that is making comments about me living in Colfax and my children living somewhere else, you need to clean out from under your own doorsteps before you try to clean out from under mine. I am sure that you don't want your life spread all over the web. Don't think that I don't know who you are because I do. As far as the managers, I have no comment! You are the ones that got really pissed off when they got the job and you didn't.

I agree with Colfax, those appartments were cleaner when Kayla was the manager, but you have people that would rather start trouble than not.... I personally believe if people would mind their own business, and step back and take a look at their own selves, others would be a lot better off. Kayla was a wonderful manager and is a great person, there are far worse out there, "you know who you are"..!!!!!! and you know what i'm talking about. It's all about personal gain, and who you know... which is pitiful...

i have to say that i am a property manager for section 8 housing. The blogs i have read on here about this property are horrible. Even though i am in alabama i am sure hud guidelines r the same for all goverment assisted housing. If what all of you are saying is true about the manager then something needs to be done about there is absolutely no way that hud would allow someone to run their housing if they have drug charges.
the number to the main hud office is listed through 411. If i were a resident i would report this situation directly to HUD!!

Well they now have a new manager, the place is looking alllloooooottttttt cleaner. I think maybe we got someone that will clean the place up. Drugs and all.

Well, there may be a new manager, but there needs to be more in depth "screening" if you will, on the tenants that are allowed to move in, or something, anyway, that place would be a nice place to live if it will get cleaned up and be kept clean.

if kayla was such a good manager and kept that place so clean then why was she busted for selling pills out of her appartment? so what if she got away with it for years she still got busted.

I can say one thing about Kayla,She never went into anyone's apt when they weren't home if they didn't know she was. The mgr that is there now goes into every one apt when she gets ready too. I don't think that is right. That is those folk's house and the only time she should be letting herself in is to do inspection.

Heard, I dont know where you get your information from, but the manager there now does NOT go into anyone's apartment unless she is doing maintenance or inspection. And it is my understanding that management has the authority to go into the apartments and do the maintenance and inspections. So get your stuff straight or shut up. And by all means get a friggin life. She respects people's privacy. So why don't you!! The place is actually cleaned up and things are getting fixed.
