Pit bulls and rottweilers: Best friend or worst nightmare?

As far as Rottweilers my family and I owned a 127 pound Black /Mahogony beautiful baby. I really wish people would understand all dogs are capable of biting the bigger the dog the bigger the bite.

Dog owners should have to take some kind of Dog course.
Its not the dog its the owner !!!!!!!

Pittbulls are somewhat of a diffrent story, they are breed mainly for one thing.
Please unless you have raised and owned a big beautiful Rptt.

i have 4 pitts and there all my idiots. They are happy and loving [not always the smartest] but they are awesome

It's just like kids...they are only as kind as the environment they are raised in !

I own a 5 year old rott. I got him just before he turned 2. At that time i was unaware he'd been mistreated by a man until my husband went to play with him and he turned angry in an instance. That was evidence he'd been mistreated by a man. You would not know to this day he's the same dog. He lives with 2 other dogs, several children two of which are 2 and 4 and the other children vary in age from 7 up to 17. My rott loves everyone!! You can take any dog and make a family pet out of them with the right training!! I would love to add a pitbull to my pack because I've handled pits that were used for fighting and i would have taken them all home if i could have. They were all very loving, they just needed someone to show them the right way of behaving. Needless to say they were sent to a Pittbull assesment institute were they were put to sleep because they didn't pass the test. Any breed of dog will take only so much before they will show signs of aggression, that is when they need to be shown that behavior is inexcuseable, just like our 2 legged children, pets need discipline, too. People ned to get over themselves, open thier eyes and STOP judging the animal, the owner is a fault when a pet turns nasty because they have been taught that bad habit!! The owners of these dogs that have to be put to sleep should be put to sleep as well!!
