Elmont teacher arrested on drug charge
In BROOKHAVEN construction work on SUNRISE HWY/NY RT-27 WB between CR-16/HORSEBLOCK RD/X57 and RT-112/X53 in PATCHOGUE A sixth-grade science teacher at Gotham Avenue School in Elmont was arrested during the Memorial Day weekend for criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to Southampton Village police.
