The difference between Mayors son case and the west side kids who do stupid things is that the west side kid will surely go directly to jail while awaiting a trial
But one case was a loaded handgun, and the other case was a BB gun.
One case killed someone, and the other case scared someone.
Then again, one was accidental (although shamefully stupid and easily predictable) and the other was intentional.
There are many varied factors in both cases. The judges will use applicable discretion. I do share the concern that the mayor's kid is likely to get off easy due to his family name and being wealthy.
What a punk though, huh? Reminds me of the boy from "The Sopranos" trying to be a big shot when he's really just a foolish boy.
And what a lousy criminal - lol. He clearly wasn't cut out for any type of drug dealing or organized crime. Making criminal calls from the home phone number instead of disposable cell phones? Hanging with cohorts who call victims back crying asking them not to call the cops? No wonder he keeps getting arrested, he's dumb as a brick.
Just teasing, though. I do hope the young man straightens out, but fear it's too late. He's been getting into trouble for years, only a couple of times did it make it to an arrest. He should have been sent to a military reform school back when he was a young teen. Now he's older and set in his ways. The only person that can straighten him out now, is himself.
