What Happened to North Woods Inn???

OMG. It's been A couple seasons since I've been there. Where happened to the owners and the great ambience the place had ? Was in the bar and the place was dirty and disgusting and the service terrible. It's like someone who has no clue how to run a business took over and is running the place in the ground! Who owns it now??? Can't be locals. What a shame.

All we can do is hope the best for the new owners. Things have a way of working out!

We were in there memorial day weekend. There were a dozen underage age kids running around the bar. All the tables were full of garbage. We left. The place must be run by white trash now.

the first and third post are clearly done by the same person, probably a former employee who has an axe to grind with the owners. i wouldnt put much stock in these comments, give the place a try and judge for yourself

Love the nw crew! Cant wait to visit home again and get some great drinks from great bartenders and enjoy yummy food!

Seems white trash owns it now. Go take a peek of their Facebook page. It's a joke. Very unprofessional.

I was there last weekend and the food was great! And what a view!

It's owned by some people from Long Island... I think they bit off more than they can chew. The food isn't bad though in both restaurants. Dave Aliaso cooks there. I don't know what they did to the stain on the siding - it look like hell. I hope they keep the place up because that location is priceless.

Their drink prices are insane. They'll go out of business soon.

I wish they'd change the lightbulbs in the lights at their entrance. They're the same color as headlights. Every time I come around the corner, I think there's a car going the wrong way in my lane.

Heard that they are bordering on going out of business.

That light is annoying!

No the "new" owners are from montauk. Their just like Jersey people with their accents and rudeness. They kept most of the same staff. which is why I think they stayed in business as long as they did. I guess the previous owners are getting it back in July. They have done nothing productive with the place they have tried to make it more up tight and "city" like. They don't care about their customers I was there last summer checking in for a couple nights and she was on the phone and told the lady that she would take her number and call her back and she didn't even write down the number and then she said I'm not calling her back and laughed it off like it was funny or something.. But the bartender Bryan was amazing. And the house keeper girls were so polite and convenient. And Katie the waitresses was simply a doll! I Hope the previous owners get it back it was much more enjoyable when they had it.
