Kansas Hispanics protest immigration reform proposal

Hey to all of you who just wish that there were no illegals in this country. Fine!!!! Send all these people home for 1 day!! That is all the time that you need to understand that you need these people in this country. With no hispanics here... who is going to work on road construction? Who is going to clean windows of large coporations? Who is going to feed the cattle that you later eat as a nice juicy steak? Who is going to work in the oil fields? Think about it...if you would rather get out and work day in and day out from early morning to late night. Fine!! Send us home! And anyways just because we went out and protested...just tell me what law was broken? NONE! And also FYI!!!! Hundreds of hispanics and failed to show up to work were fired so its not like they got any special treatment there. Furthermore, all the employers that did give hispanics a break it because they value their employees because of the work they put out. When have you ever met an employer that likes to keep lazy people around. And don't get me wrong if there is a Hispanic employee that is lazy and a hardworking american comes along----Fire the Hispanic! If you want to keep a job--You must WORK!.

Because this Hipanic beast is sub human creature that breed like rabbit and teach it's children too steal,cheat, corrupt. They be filthy animals that choose to live in sewage and spew hate at all they meet.... Yuk people!

It's not just about Hispanics or sending them home! It's about doing it the legal way that is why America is the place to come, there is a an order but now there seems to be no order. I think now that those people who employed the illegals should become sponsors. These sponsors should make sure their employees are using their own identity, SS#, have legal residency and give them health insurance, paid vacations and become responsible to take SS and taxes like ALL WORKING AMERICANS! And everyone should learn enough english to communicate it'S beneficial to the country and to the non english speaking person. Okay my question is now...why not make Mexico a better country. The Mexican people are loving, hardworking people, true to their country why not make their country work for them?? Why not demand Mr. President Fox to help them? Why doesn't Mr. Fox make it possible for his country men and women become legal Americans? Why doesn't he make Mexico a better country??

Mr. Fox's laws in Mexico are not even CLOSE to USA's. I'll look up and post thier immigration laws...summarizing that they take it much more seriously than 'we' do. They have similar issues from South Americans trying to get into Mexico to take thier jobs. Irony huh?

I also never said having a rally was illegal (might wanna re-read my post Hispanic girl). I said the INS and other law enforcement should have rounded up the Illegals at the rallies
and deported them. Don't tell me 100% of the people at the rallies were Citizens.....please.

Take all the emotion out of the issue (if you can) and you'll see America has Laws that should be abided to. Illegal Aliens, be it Mexican, Asian, Canadian, Middle East whoever are breaking the friggin law and have to be held accountable for thier actions, otherwise there is no point.

Dear Knight, I've been on other forums and the Hispanic people think we are just talking about their lawlessness and thinking that we are against the rallies too. And all we're saying is that yes rally if you have been mistreated as a legal abiding citizen, pay taxes, have insurance know the language so on and so fourth. Thanks for your imput we must keep talking and have our opinions heard. LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS ON MAY 1st there should be another rally for the immigrant workers.

From the news reports, local talk radio shows, national and local..the interviews with the protesters seems to always end up befuddled with the question of "Do you think your breaking the law?" -- out come excuses of Americans are lazy, we don't do the hard work, we need them. yada yada. It's a broken record.

The whole premise of amnesty also belittles those who have come here legally. They have gone thru the proper channels, paperwork, documentation etc. Done the right thing. To me, once they've done that they're Americans In my eyes.

All others are criminals.

Should Congress change the laws and give amnesty to Illegals then I would, by principal, consider them Americans as well.

Sarcasm is the single most difficult emotion to portray on the net/forums.

I am trying to understand the lack of United States citizens who complain on a daily basis of taxes being too high and jobs not being there, yet going out and protesting this initiative to have ALL illegal aliens register and become citizens.

Do they not realize that these people are here in our country, working and getting paid cash under the table, not paying any kind of taxes, and taking or sending the money home. The companies that are paying them are also not paying any form of taxes for these same employees. These people, if they want to work here and get paid, need to be paying taxes to say the least and they will have to become citizens or get Visa's.

I am sick and tired of taxes going up and up and the whole time knowing that there are millions of these illegal aliens living in our country, taking our money and services and yet not having to pay a dime for it.

Recently there was a death of a coach in our area and the kid that caused it not only went to one of our schools, but was an illegal alien, which means my tax dollars are paying for this kid to go to school here while his parents don't.

I don't have a problem with from other countries living in the US, after all, we all come from a family that originally came over on a boat, but those ancestors had to get registered and them as well as their offspring's have to pay the price of living in this great country by honoring our obligations of taxes and staying within the countries laws set forth for it's citizens.

Kick them out or make them register for work visas or become a citizen...

And I agree with Andrew above comments...I didn't bring it up because talking economics with emotional people who support Illegal aliens/amnesty/etc. cannot logically come up with an answer.

USA to most illegals (still trying not to generalize) is a Meal Ticket...social services, schooling, medical, money,..it's all

As for that punk kid ILLEGAL ALIEN killing the LEGAL Citizen Coach a few weeks ago...he should be deported and sent to a Mexican Jail for life.

In my opinion laws are laws and should be followed no matter what background the people are. That includes the hispanics. Illegals need to be deported and the flow of immigrants restricted. There are laws to move to the US for a reason, they should be followed plain and simple.

There are some illegal immigrants that do pay taxes already. It is a much more difficult process to apply for citizenship. Not that some of them do not want to become honorable citizens.
