She gave her ID to a co-worker to fix a discrepancy in the co-worker's 401k? That doesn't make sense. Any discrepancy would be between the individual and the provider. This woman is too trusting or quite naive.

I would presume that the supposed "discrepancy" was on Jenkinson's paperwork, not Sweeten's. That's probably why Jenkinson willingly gave over her driver's license, especially if Sweeten was in a position to authorize any changes.

Whether it was her job ID or her drivers license (as previously reported), how stupid can you be to give it to someone else? Did it occur to Ms. Jenkinson to ask Ms. Sweeten HOW exactly she intended to use another persons' ID to fix her 401K discrepancy? If nothing else, in many places, depending on the security level of your job, giving your ID to someone else can get you fired. Unbelievable.

I think this story is pretty intriguing. Better than stories about the opening of the frigin Sands day after day.
Wonder why she chose this route? Bad marriage? Boyfriend we don't know about? Only the tip of the iceberg is showing.

This woman deserves severe punishment! So many people were worried sick about her and especially about her child! I heard on the radio this morning that she has a 15 year old daughter (fathered by her ex-husband) and an 8 month old (fathered by her current husband). I can't imagine the distress she put them all through, not to mention the distress and confusion for the child she took to Disney!
And to throw in the race card, too. Freakin' woman should be locked up forever - and made to work to pay for all of the expense in searching for them.

Its not like you never heard it before. Susan Smith drowned her two sons and blamed it on a black man. When in fact she was the deceptive one.

Locked up forever? You're overreacting but I believe it's par for the course. I've seen your posts on here plenty of times. You commonly overreact.
Do you come from a large family of overreactors?

This woman simply ate an albatross out of the cyclops bin and simply couldn't stomach the brown stew and fish tea pooridge.

Thanks, Sue. That makes more sense. Even so, if I give my ID to my personnel clerk, I stand there and wait for it to be given back as soon as she is done with it. My personnel clerk wouldn't have it any other way. I imagine the two women looked similar. I'll bet the Disney trip was step one on a bigger journey. Don't know about the other children alluded to by posters. Don't know where Sweeten worked or what her occupation was. Another poster speculated that she was a stripper, which would account for why a co-worker would be fool enough to hand over her ID upon request. I'm sure there's more to come.

Here is a good question.
Does Jenkinson who lent her driver's license to Sweeten, even remotely look anything like Sweeten? If she doesn't, how was she able to "fool" both the ticket agent from US Air, AND, the highly skilled and trained professionals from Department of Homeland Security's TSA????? Remember, our tax dollars are directly funding this monster!

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Taurus

If your goals are fairly modest in the short term, they are achievable and you're likely to get some praise for achievements along the way. If you aim too high too quickly, others might not take you seriously or think you're being uppity and you could come unstuck. It's all a question of attitude and approach. There are contradictory influences over the next ten days but there could also be good luck coming your way.
