First off, what those children were living in and exposed to is abhorrent! That being said I think that you are being incredibly judgemental of the mother. Meth is a terrible drug that takes over the person and enslaving them to it. It is true that many, many people never recover from addiction but I and many others have. I have 3 yrs clean and sober and know people that have anywhere from 1 day to 31 years. Instead of recommending she be put to death how about you pray for her to find a new way of life?

why in the world would these females keep having so many kids? after having 3, she should of realize no one wants a skank. she should have been sterilized and then she could lay around with all the males in the world and get high.

That woman is lucky that none of the children got into her "drug stash" or needles. The fact that she let them live in unsanitary conditions is bad enough but to let them live with drugs in reach is outrageous. I guess the only reason she has the children is to get State Assistance instead of letting them be adopted by someone who would take care of them and love them as they need to be loved. The selfishness of some people makes me want to puke! I hope that she gets her just reward instead of a slap on the wrist and the kids back .

Why do they keep refering to 4 children when the ages given are for 5? I do hope she gets the help she needs, but I also hope those children find themselves in a good, clean, stable home for the rest of their little lives. She will have to fight her problem for the rest of her life, is it fair to these kids to make them take the chance of her having a relapse?

She must have just started the stuff. She's skinny, but her complexion is really nice for a meth head. Honestly, I don't know WHY this stuff makes the news. It is SO common. People get high on legal drugs all the time and no one speaks of taking away their kids, or the dangers of the children finding their legal stash. I'm not saying the kids shouldn't be taken away, but has anyone noticed that when something becomes illegal, then all of a sudden it also becomes IMMORAL?? It's like a govt. vs. NON govt. type thing. If the govt. okays it, then it must be a moral and okay thing to do.
