The term "pro-lifers" is over simplified, as is the term "choicers" or "pro-choice"(all those titles are oxymoron's - LOL).
It appears that MOST who describe themselves as "choicers" do not approve of Abortion on DEMAND (NOTE SPECIFICITY PLZ - I'm NOT referring to cases of incest/rape which account - according to the socialist N.Y. Times - for >1% of all abortions - look it up) for themselves, but think others should have the "choice" to decide (ultimately) to murder their own child.
That was a harsh conclusion, but I am responding IN KIND.
Don't forget, several "pro-lifers" have been murdered over the years for their stance as well.
People need to accept the FACT that there are SOME on both sides of this divisive issue who are certifiable nut jobs & are not supported by the vast majority of people on their side ... we can at least agree on that.

The whole abortion debate is nothing but a friggen waste of time, energy, and money that could be spent on something more productive, for instance: feeding and taking better care of all of the children abandoned in orphanages or taken away from parents who beat them, molest them, neglect them, and who made it known to them that they weren't wanted in the first place.
You pro lifers are idiots. Do something more productive. Adopt all the unwanted children that we already have out there.

In a sometimes emotional and often overwhelming contest, the Stand for Marriage Maine coalition withstood intense pressure from inside and outside the state. They were outspent and outmaneuvered, but one thing they weren't was outnumbered.
According to the unofficial results, Question 1 lost in only three of the state's 16 counties. As Bangor News reports, homosexual activists won by just a single point in two of those three counties. Of course, what makes the victory even more incredible is that these same Mainers legalized medical marijuana and higher spending on the same day -- so it's not as if the state suddenly turned conservative. Protecting marriage was a goal shared by all parties and ideologies.
Our heartfelt congratulations go out to everyone on the ground in Maine, and in particular, FRC's Watchman on the Wall pastor who helped led the coalition effort: Bob Emrich. Together with help from FRC Action and others across the country, he helped repudiate Maine's leaders for turning their backs on constituents. It's not unreasonable to suggest that people like Governor Baldacci (D), who had the liberal special interests in their back pocket, may soon pay a political price. Now that they've seen the potency of this issue, it's safe to say that any legislator who voted for same-sex "marriage" will be in for some sleepless nights before the next election. Meanwhile, we hope the message from Maine voters will be heard in Washington and state capitals around the nation. Traditional marriage is a winning issue in every corner of America!
