Mayor Kathy Taylor To Join Governor's Staff

I'll get some popcorn. This is going to be a fun discussion.

With only three schools in the state receiving passing grades it looks like an area that definately needs improvement. Mabee we could improve the education of the local high school kids that are killing each other.

so since she has become mayor her major projects have been parks... now our schools will have the best playgrounds in the country

Where else could you find someone to do the job for free??? Oh wait without a salary. Nothing is free.

Not surprised! I figured this was coming down the pike. I'm sure she will be running for Governor

It will be a short run at education for her.
I think this is her way of slinking into the State house at a chance for gubna. How bad would that suck. Nothing surprises me anymore.

She's done such a good job for Tulsa since the idiots voted her in for mayor - now she's in charge of education throughout the state! Yee-f**kin'-haw!! This should be REALLY good! LOL!

and those that are state paid employees can not even get raises! what an even bigger crock she will prolly make more than 40 thousand state employees put together!

Talk about the "good ole boy system". It's for girls too. Have we started a former Tulsa mayor cabinet at the state house? Second "successful" former Tulsa mayor to get a cushy appointed job.BTW, did they ever find the 11+ million shortfall after Susan left? Surely the black eyes are healed by now.Durn it, if I could only be mayor one term, I could get a better job later.

She is already a millionare-ess. And has a face like a catchers mitt.

And just what experience does she have in education?

Billions of dollars in stimulus money vs. a budget shortfall. No brainer.

And now we know why she's splitting town. Frankly, I'm underwhelmed...I figured she'd be going DC all the way. A post in a LAME duck governor's office? Cathy!! I expected so much more!

She doesn't need the money. It is just a chance for more photo ops.(broken lenses on cameras)

She is good look how this Mayor help Tulsa Light up she was good with the BOK that woman brought more money in to Downtown. And that's what makes a good Leader. She is Great and she is perfect I love her. And Oklahoma City is about to out do Tulsa. They are getting a new Oil company Skyscraper which will be the tallest Building in Oklahoma 64 floors Nice Glass Tower. And Tulsa All we have is the three and what Kathy Taylor did for the city to come back to life. Instead of a Ghost town. I love you Kathy Taylor you deserve the Job You did Tulsa well and you have good Leader skills. She is a very strong woman. And because public Safety can't be paid that was not under her watch that was the Dog Mayor Before she got in Office. So Kathy Taylor I love you as being the Mayor of Tulsa you have this city blooming you had that arena built and it brought more money then you could have imagine you are Keen mind and you are Golden I love You Kathy Taylor and Tulsa Loves you too
