Today the Oklahoma Tax Commission announced that it has redefined the rules and guidelines previously stated in the original state bill regarding vehicles that qualify for the state tax credit. I have a friend who works in the Capitol and a friend who works at the OTC and both confirmed my initial fear. They basically decided that too many people were taking advantage of this tax credit and needed to slow down all the people applying for it. The tomberlin electric car company manufactures LSV NEV electric cars and has been in the local news several times discussing their cars and how they will fall within the constraints of the Oklahoma Tax Credit Bill. Well, Oklahoma law makers have decides to put a stop to all people thinking they could get this tax credit. There are hundreds of people who have already purchased these cars and thousands more who have put deposits on them and many electric car dealors who will all be out a lot of TIME< MONEY< AND AGONY over this Big Government garbage. I think its time we re-evaluate who we have working in our state capitol because they obviously cant do their jobs. I know many people who have blown their lid over this issue including doctors, lawyers, accountants, and insurance agents as well as the car dealors who are getting ready to file for bankruptcy. Please call our state capitol and demand to speak with someone about this. I will be calling daily as well as sending a letter to Gov Henry.
