Holiness and the Internet!

Why is it okay to play on the internet, but not watch tv?

why is it a sin to watch tv, can any holiness person out there tell me?

To be so literal would mean to sit in your home with no communication fromthe outside wourld. There is far to much wickedness in the workd to not come across it. The TV not only shows the wicked but the good. Why to you think there are so many sermons shown on TV now?

So isn't the internet as evil as the tv?

As far as every day life evil will present its self I am not setting it in from of me. As far as the internet goes it is just as bad as tv if it is used for intertainment.

Whatever, I'm saying that they are all hypocrites, internet is just as bad as the tv if not worse!!!!

Why do you care it is there culture not yours don't worry about it. Grow up.

I care because the Paden and Prague holiness people have said bad things about me and my family.

They all think they are the only ones going to heaven and they sit around and talk bad about EVERYONE and are really big gossips, and I know all this stuff to be true whether you believe it or not.

FYI The Holiness church does not believe that they are the only one's going to heaven. Maybe the people who said bad things about you and your family do, but if they are gossiping about your family then they are not true Christians anyway. And God will judge them when their times come. However, you cannot judge a whole religion on just a few people in a couple of churches. My grandmother is holiness, and has been all her life. I have never heard her say one bad thing about anyone. In fact, she always calls us down when she catches us talking about someone. My grandfather was probably the kindest man you would ever meet. No one has a bad thing to say about him, and he never judged a soul. I went to Burnett Mission as a child, and the church there is full of good people. Yes, there are a few that will have a rude awakening coming when judgement day comes, but I will let God deal with him. His justice will be a whole lot hotter than anything I could dish out. The best thing you can do, is forget these people who hurt you, and forgive them. That will hurt them worse than anything.
