I know who this was-and it is very weird. According to inside info-the victim simply went to the wrong hotel room door-when the shooter opened the door-shot him-then closed the door.

The victim was not a violent person-or into drugs. He is survived by a wife and daughter.

Very sad-

i knew the victim as well. he was a very kind and generous man and a loving father to his two kids and wife. he was an amazing producer working with local bands. he will be missed. there is a concert going on right now at hayleys in everett that is being dedicated to him. he will be missed.

Indeed! He had an amazing ear. It just seems so pointless-

Actually, a wife, a son, a daughter, and a step-daughter. I didn't know him, but I know one of the kids pretty well. The whole family is in my thoughts and prayers, and although I don't want to sound hateful I hope the bastard who shot him suffers worse pain then the family. I cannot even begin to imagine what they are going through.

I knew him a little from his sound engineering-live and studio. He had an amazing ear...truly a great talent! He was mellow-not a violent guy-not into drugs or that scene-so I know he wasnt doing something based on that. All I heard so far is he just simply-went to the wrong hotel room door.

I understand that life sometimes has freak accidents. Look at Joe Shikany-a guitarist who was killed by a falling tree branch while boating. Tragic-but a freak accident.

This was caused by some delusional jackass who opened fire on someone who simply-was at the wrong door. I am with you-the family just must be floored-and I know some of my friends will be floored as well-they were working with him.

My thoughts go out to the kids and his wife. What a horrible weekend-and for no reason at all. Absolutely a waste.

I too hope the bastard rots-

I was a student of his at AIS, he was by far their best audio instructor and a truly great guy. He will be missed. The latest rumor I heard was that he jiggled the handle on the wrong room and the guy shot him through the door, opened the door and shot him again. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Wow-

I take it the guy was on drugs or something. Just too strange to fire thru a hotel room door-etc.

What a waste-over nothing. Nothing at all.

Its unspeakable...and pathetic.

Now-it is just an extremely weird empty feeling. I feel for his family-

My wishes and efforts go out to them!
