we deserve a little privacy. the teachers trust us to not cheat or trust us to do our wqork, but they dont trust us enough to believe tht we arent hiding bad things in our lockers????

You are the reason we need dress codes in schools. The kids come in dressed like streetwalkers, and I don't even blame the kid because I can only imagine what kind of parent allows their child to come to school dressed that way. Your language on this message board speaks volumes as to what kind of person and parent you are (or will be).

You laugh, but my high school has no lockers. Students have to carry everything around all day.

Hey, all of you who think that we shouldn't have locker checks, think again. Would you rather have someone doing drugs and selling them around the school? Or would you rather be safe knowing that your school know about it and has taken care of the problem? What are you worried about? If you have nothing hidden in your locker what is the big deal about them searching it? Do have something to hide?

locker checks help make sure our schools are safer. so many kids come to school with drugs or guns that teachers feel it nessasary to check our lockers. and only the people who have nothing to hide are truley ok with locker checks! thats how i feel about the matter, and i'm a 8th grader!

there should be locker checks and uniforms. when my sister was at school, someone brought a gun to school. this year, another kid brought a knife and tried to stab someone who hardly speaks english.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
