It is starting all over everywhere. With this economy, I bet we will be seeing more of this, hopefully, people will not have to die over this though.

Sounds random to me since they said it was a home invasion and they called saying they were robbed and stabbed, need more info huh? This is so scary! What is this world coming to!?

I don't believe the economy has anything to do with this. The main cause of things like this is not only cultural but also judicial. Minnesota needs capital punishment and the cajonies to use it. For too long MN has assigned victim status to its criminals.

They were stabbed by guns?????

Why is it that people that favor handguns always think that they could stop the crime...sort of like Dirty Harry.

Someone breaks into my house I don't need a handgun...my 30/30 Marlin works just fine. I don't need to conceal it...I need my intentions to be obvious.

I think you both are correct. The bad econmy is dangerous for it makes desparate people do desparate things...and yes, I agree 120% with capitol punishment..why this state, aor all fo them for that matter, do not have it is beyond me. I really believe that it would immedialtey pay off with lower crime rates if all states were united and had it..and enforced it.....DEATH PENALTY NOW>>>>>>wha t are we waiting for?....not only to deter crime but think of the tens of thousands of dollars it would save taxpayers to feed inmates who don't deserve to live in our world anyway...if you screw up ONE time, your done....kind of like the ViQueens in the Playoffs.......

12ga shotgun works well too..dont even have to turn on the lights..just spray and pray.
The sound alone is likely to scare the crap out of any home invader.

It could be somone on meth, meth abusers can get pretty violent. Of couse they will get their sentence reduced because they probably had a "rough childhood"

Back in the day when men were men and women were women it was common sense that the best defense is a good offense.

Law enforcement needs to turn up the heat.

Civilians need to turn up the heat. Keep your doors locked and take up a hobbie at the shooting range a few times a month. My in-laws live on Ann Lake in Mora right next to Knife lake. The doors are locked all the time and grandpa always has a fire arm on or near him. Big dog out side for the first warning alarm locked doors and thats the way of the world these days.Uninvited guests get shot!

the last double homocide up in that neck of the woods was an internet swingers love triangle--not joblessness, not meth, not race related, not a conceal carry or home defense issue. Just good plain old fashioned LUST....

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
