It really sucks when you read that SS benefits are depleting and that after all the money I have put into it from working full time for the last 36 years won't be there when I should be able to get it. Myself as well as many other hard working citizens of this country are the ones who should and deserve to receive it! After all WE are the ones who have put the money into it and have continued to keep it going for all of those who claim they cannot work or have disabled children that they get money for and do not work or have not worked a day in their lives. Half or most of them do not even use the money for their disabled children but use it for themselves for their drug and alcohol habits. It disgusts me to no end! I choose to post this on this Topix because from what I have seen this town has a lot of abusers of the system. These people should be tested and MADE to work and be MADE to pay for health insurance and have SS deducted from their wages just as I do. Things would be so much better if the system cracked down and made them accountable. This goes for the entire country. Get a grip on yourselves and be responsible instead of having everyone else take care of your sorry lazy asses! Sick of it!

couldn't agree more. this country is in very sad shape and getting worse every day. welfare lazy asses are the only ones not having to worry about the future. we have to plug along to support those bums. All us working people are sick of it. I wish we had a say to where our hard earned money goes to.

Lots of people look like it on the surface but they are not capable. Do you have a degree in medicine? How do YOU know they are capable of Working and MAINTAINING a job? I myself can get up and walk around, bend and pick things up, hell I can walk a mile. According to YOUR standards I should be working right. Well check this out I spend about four to five months a year in the hospital having major surgeries, and another Three to Four months recovering. Now even If I could work, what employer would hire me? I never know when I would be calling in sick or how long I would be out. If you were an emplorer would you hire me, proably not. Remember I am the same person you saw outside, and decided because I could move, I should be working. You assumed that we don't pay health insurance, your wrong. My health insurance cost me about $100.00 a month. What I am saying is just because you see something on the outside is not what is going on, on the inside. Please don't come back and say you were not talking about me, you were, even though you don't know it. When you get your degree in medician and have a chance to examine my body, then I will let you make a decision about my work status. I am so sick and tired of people like you thinking you know it all, when infact you know nothing. Are there people out there taking advantage of the system, Yes, but not near as manny as you think.

There are a lot of jobs out there that are not physical that an employer will hire you for. Something tells me you just don't want to work. I see it every day. Good try

Are you saying you would hire someone that only will be there a few months a year, Bullcrap on that one also. When you think about it, being a C.N.A. really does not qualify as a Licensed Medical Provider, does it? It's funny you are the only person who wants to work and your the only person who does work. You are part of the problem there, mister medical provider with a college degree. Why don't you quite prescibing drugs and tell these people to not come back, because there is nothing wrong with them, or they just want drugs, that you write scripts for. How come your not working today, is Tuesday your day off, or are you taking patients time away from them, so you can be on topix.

If we don't like it, we can go back to Cybersparring, next week. I'll leave it up to you. I will give you credit though, you are about as witty as I am.

Times are changing and so will benefits for the lazy. Wait and see You have to be the best RN on the planet. You just diagnosed me, without even so much as asking my friggen name. I have Sick for 20 some years, and seriously know what I am talking about. You are obviously very ignorant and pissed that society says you have to work and you can't stand it. How dare you even think that you can tell me what's wrong, or if there even is something wrong. See that's the problem, people think they know, and then act as if they do. You don't know, and you can not tell just by looking at them, and you certainly can't tell by a few words on the internet, like you just tried to do. I hope you never have to go through what I have been through. You know what else I don't believe your a nurse or colledge educated.
