Steak Express hits Odessa

So they lied to the Midland market this whole time about going in over there. Unreal. I am not sure I can eat some place that is dishonest. I also don't think they payed attiontion to how many other food places have been in that location. And any of us that have sat at that intersection will know that you will be waiting awhile for your food.

I hear the place has good food. However I do have issues with a company that can't keep their word.

I agree with you about the location. It seems to me that this Robert person didn't do his homework.

from what i just read in the article, they didnt lie, the deal in midland fell through, and didnt happen, which mean whatever site they were gonna buy there didnt happen, how can you put that blame on steak express? I do agree with you on the location issue, it's not the best, personally I will probally never eat there, when i want a good steak i go to logans and dine in. But I bet it will get alot of business anyhow, I have heard they are really good.

The word in Midland is the "owner" is holding up the strip center that they were suppose to go into. If the location didn't work for them , then do what other companies do, look for another one.

I agree with Lisa, they did lie to the Midland market. If they aren't go over there then they need to pull the ad that has been in the phone book for two years now. This is dishonest and deceitful of them.

That doesn't mean I won't give them a try. I might. I have heard the food is good and that the burgers are great. I will have to see how I feel about it after they open up.

And yes the location is bad. They should have done some research before going there. With the state of the economy I hate to see them fell.

I am so glad to see someone come in that delivers other than pizza. We don't get to go out for lunch much at the hospital so it will be nice to have somthing different. I have tried to get Jason's Deli to deliver numerous times and they ALWAYS have a reason that they can't deliver. I am VERY glad to see that Odessa got the new place to eat it is about time. Since they deliver I think that were they picked was just fine, Long John Silver has been there for years and it hasn't hurt them.

The burgers and steaks are average at best. A little salt and pepper or something would be nice. I've heard that they have good salmon but I haven't tried it. They're also more expensive than most others for an average product. Location is ok since they're delivery; otherwise location would not be good.
