Monahans man charged in homicide

I feel Bryan was only defending himself..The man who died had no right to come into Bryan's house and threaten him. I feel the man brought his death onto himself.

The Thompson's have always been in and out of trouble. Everyone of them. Mac had just been released from prison and was paroled to his mother's house. It was probably only a short time before he would have been returning to prison. It is very sad for his family, but both families have lost here. Both Mack and Brian's families need to be rememebered.

Do not generalize our family. Yes we have family members who have been to prison, probably more so than other families... but the fact is that not every family is perfect. Almost every family in America has been affected by drug addiction, or even alcohol addiction. Mack was my uncle, I loved him very much. He had a problem with addiction, he WAS NOT a violent man.... but because of the violent act of Mr. Gardner I don't have my uncle anymore, and my poor 76 year old grangmother who has been through hell does not have her son anymore. A little tidbit about my grandmother.... she raised me and my brothers after raising seven of her own children (only 3 of 7 are alive today, Mack was the fourth child she lost). She raised my brothers and I because my dad's addiction led him to prison, and my mother died of breast cancer. My grandparents did a great job raising us. My grandmother encouraged me to go to college and thats where I am at right now. I will graduate with a bachelors in Criminology next year. We have many other succesful people in our family, but that is not what people focus on. My uncle was a kind person, he has nothing in his background involving any violence. Brian Gardner on the other hand has a long history of violence.

Bryan invited Mack over, then he was shot. Not everyone who witnessed it made statements, there were more people involved, than who came forward. The people who made statements have changed their story so many times that they cannot be trusted.

This is not about Bryan's past or Mack's past this is about now.If Bryan wouldn't have deffended himself he would've been laying there instead of Mack.My uncle has already been severly beaten already he wasn't gonna let it happen again.He told Mack to put it down three times.Mack was strung out on drugs anyone in their right mind wouldv'e left someones house if they had a gun.Both families are grieving nobody won.

what ever!! the cue ball did not have macks fingerprints on it. the witness are lying.. just like the girl saying she has not done drugs since 2002, well why was her fingerprints all over the drug tray. along with bryans they were all up for 6 or 7 days on drugs (not mack). why didn't bryan take a drug test. mack had 2 drug test that week
Mack didn't go over there with a gun, bryan is the one with a stolen gun and bryan was beat buy family.
he had the gun from a drug deal. the 2 witness will be exposed as soon as the girl has the baby. she already had a baby addicted to cocaine. this one will be to. and mack is the one in a better place. i wonder if bryan will continue drinking and druging. because he will be caught!!!! if he does.

why wasn't the cue ball in macks hand when bryan shot him? why was it sitting on the pool table. why didn't he call 911??there was 3 phones in the house..why did't he have a mark on him?? why didn't he ask the guy there to help him?? the cue ball was sitting on the pool table because mack did not pick it up...

It is not about Mack or Bryans past? No Bryans past was not brought up just Macks. The guy that hit bryan is in jail for 4 years for assault. Bryan also has a baby with his own step-daughter His step-father is the one how hit him on the head. Bryan beat his mother and wife that is why she left him. bryan has a history of violence NOT mack. all bryan had to do was tell mack he was going to call the law and mack would have left. 12 people of monahans let a murder, drug addict, perfert back on the streets.

Before you start writitng stuff you need to know the facts.Bryan did not beat his wife or mother and donna did not leave him because of that. You can ask anyone and they would tell you mac was a bad person!!!!!! anyone who knows bryan knows he's a good person.A cold blooded murder wouldve ran and not called the cops.

The people i have talk to say he beat his mother,he is a alcoholic,And a drug addict.You can ask people that knew Mack that will say he was a good guy, not a bad person!!!! Brian is a cowerd!!!

YES!! He did when she lived in Pyote I know for a fact. Because I knew her!!! Mack was a addict I know that. that is why he was at bryans house because bryan was selling drugs not to just mack but alot of people. Don't worry is will come out. Because he can't stop doing dope!!! Mack did have a drug problem. but, he was not a bad person, he did not beat his mother or wife. he did not have a baby with his step-daughter. what kind of GOOD person does that Bryan is nothing but a drug addict MURDER!!!
He is lying about what happen and so are the 2 people.
Too bad the jurors did here all the evidence. the DA should have told everything on him. I bet he can't pass a drug test!!!!

In our eyes Brian is a murderer!!!! That will never change.The two witnesses took an oath to tell the truth,the whole truth,nothing but the truth and did not.How can they sleep at night?If the three people in the house hadn't been selling drugs Mack would not been there that mornig.You need to get some facts stright,Mack never seen him pull the gun!Brian did not have to use deadly force.He killed my uncle over 50$.The only family members not allowed in court were Donna & Barbara, they were subpoenaed witnesses!!!!Where was Brians family? My uncle was not strug out on drugs.We know who the crazied cocain addict was,Not Mack.So are you saying Brian is going to pack a gun&use deadly force if threatened agian?Brain is a cowerd.I would like to know how the gardner family has lost?We can never see mack,touch or talk to him.He is gone forever.Brian is home with his sons.

he is a cold blooded murder because he ask the guy what he should do after he shot Mack. the guy replied call 911. you should have been in the court room the here the testimony they all lied and flushed his dope. why doesn't he apoligies to the family or make a statement talk to the news beside getting his Aunt to do if for him. BIG OLD BABY!! he doesn't even raise his own kids never has.

Brian had to ask jock what to do when he killed mack.Jock said call 911,Brian said what do i tell them.Jock said tell them what happen.He calls 911 & says A MAN HAS BEEN SHOT & hangs up the phone when they say stay on the line.Dont sound like self defence to me.
