all i can say is YOU have to live with yourself knowing what you did to that poor family, i guess you didn't learn your lesson the OTHER times you got caught driving drunk!

Ms. Getz KNEW before driving she was drinking-knowing she COULD KILL SOMEONE. Well this young mother and her two children are no longer here because of Ms. Getz stupidity. MS. Getz should be taken straight to death row without a jury or judge!!!!!!!!!! I hope you get what you deserve and more!!!!!!! MS. GETZ YOU ROBBED A MAN OF HIS FAMILY. YOU ROBBED PARENTS OF THEIR DAUGHTER. YOU ROBBED GRANDPARENTS OF THEIR GRANDBABIES. YOUR ROBBED PEOPLE WHO CARED AND LOVED THIS WOMAN AND HER CHILDREN.

You should spend the rest of your life in prison, surrounded by pictures of the lives you cut short when making your choice to drive after drinking. That way, they can haunt you forever. As for your family and any outpouring of support they might offer, they can go to hell - there is NO EXCUSE for what you did, so they should just keep their comments to themselves.

I hope you have a god that will forgive you. You need to leave this earth.

It is Christmas day. Miss Getz made a serious mistake.I can't imagine what it would be like to take 3 beautiful lives. Miss Getz will have to live with this every day for the rest of her life. I pray she gets the help she needs. Joshusa Jahn's life will never be the same. Every day must be very sad. Today most of all.

First of all it is very tragic what happened and she will be punished. BUT you people with no lives are just saying stupid things. Let the justice system do its job. No she shouldnt go to death row. She didnt leave that night to shoot or maim somebody. She got drunk and drove.

It is people like Anthony in this world who are allowing people like Anne Marie Getz get behind the wheel of her car. I am sitting here reading these posts, not because I don't have a life, but because I am in tears, mourning the loss of my friend after these months yet again. You say she didn't leave that night to shoot or maim somebody, she got drunk and drove. WHY does our society not see that as a horrible offense?!?! WHY are people too worried about offending other people to step in a possibly prevent something like this? WHY after someone has already showed poor judgement in doing this that they are not required by law to have their car rigged with a breathalyzer? Yes it is an inconvience, but if you're sober why should it matter? All I ask is that we stop being so d**n coplacent and start holding people responsible for the awful decisions they make.

Does anyone know what is going on with this case? I have not heard anything in a while nor have I seen any stories in the paper. Has she been sent to prison yet? Is she still awaiting trial?

My heart goes out to the family and friends of the victims. I pray that there will be justice in this case.

She plead guilty to one count. Her attorney has asked for six months of probation. Her hearing is on July 28- 29, then she will be sentenced.

Maybe they should lock the both of them up. Ann Marie, and her attorney. What is wrong with her attorney, That's why people do what they do. Because there is no accountability for your actions.
That Judge lets her off we need to rethink the system we have created, and make changes now.

I was there that night trying to save this family. I worked on one of the children. I hope she rots in hell. It was the worst thing I have ever seen in my life and I do not think that 24 years is enough for what she did. I can never forget what I saw, when i close my eyes that night plays like a movie. I can never get it out of my mind. I pray for Josh and his family. I can not imagine the pain that he is feeling. I think she should have to look at pictures of this family everyday she is in prison. She should suffer, Josh has to.

Looks like you need to seek help with CSDT. Wishing bad to some-one who as done us wrong is a natural human responce, but continuing so will distory you. If you are a true emergency responder you'll need to let this go and move on, or your next big call will suffer. I know it hurts to see some one else hurt in this way. We'll never forget but we must move forward and learn and teach what we have learned. I've been there and I didn't let it go and it cost me.
